As someone who ALSO made a ROA character and DOESN'T KNOW how to code, it's nice to know that i'm not the only one to take a lot of code from existing fighters. (difference for me was that is was basically an echo fighter with permission from the original creator.)

there’s a fan made smash bros game called super smash bros crusade which has a modding scene as well just like rivals and fraymakers. the coding is easier to work with compared to rivals but it only runs on windows.

Hey nonsense, I have something to tell you. So did you know you can change how moves work in rivals of aether? It's kind of like sm4sh with custom moves. It's called Abyss runes, and you can add final smashes with a buddy, and Abyss runes started of as a buddy, but I think Aether studios (The guys who made rivals of aether) liked it so much that they added it to the game. So if you decide to make a major update, make your character have support for those 2 things. kthxbai

I LOVE FRAYMAKERS i backed it on kickstarter a while back and i finally got to play it a few months ago (i got the steam code back in march 2022 but i expected to have a pc by then... and then wow i got a macbook in september 2023 and it broke a few months later)

I've tried several times to make a Rivals Character, and I think I have awoken a Curse that everytime I make progress on my character, something happens to my computer and I lose all my files. I'll try again soon, Hopefully I can lift this curse by actually completing a character.
