Love this technique. Looks so much safer than what we have traditionally done. This type of training has been slow to show up here. I am a PA in Florida - do you ever do any training in the Southeast or teach out of your office in MO?

I agree if you already have a prominent jaw the only way to go is to lift the jawline not add more bulk .

Can you use Voluma in the jaw area which last 2 years? Also, do yoi have to use a cannula in the jaw area ? This woman looks great...

The reason I ask is because I have a heart shaped face with a high jaw bone which protrudes down then a lower chin... would this be an appropriate procedure or a chin filler?

Yes to all of your questions - Voluma is appropriate for the jawline, we do use a cannula, and this would be an effective treatment for someone like you described.

Adding filler to the jaw line can result in a man-like appearance. We are trying to give women a inverted triangle look, by adding filler to the cheeks to lift, not a heavy jaw look. Don't use too much product or you're patients will hate it!

sorry but LIFTING the jawline would have been better. she doesn't have a prominent jawline....if she does then I really am King Kong's relative.

Deborah Niemeyer you are 100% correct Hey lifting is better - when it fits the patient’s health, finances, and social/work schedule. If those things don’t allow surgery, this is an alternative. It allows us to give these patients who can’t have surgery, or don’t want it, some improvement.
