If anything the the ingame Spirit of Grungni is actually incredibly scaled down from the book version. In the books it was about twice the size of the Hindenburg and could hold several hundreds dwarfs(and a big rat) at the same time. Also after Malakai took the oath, he decided to test some insane inventions on himself which led to the Dwarfs inventing safety harnesses and parachutes.

Hi @CodyBonds, thank you so much for your content over the years I remember watching your channel all the way back in warhammer 1. I am a modder and I wanted to ask you for help. long story short, the most recent update broke something called "skill tiers" and now when skills hit a cap of 48 in each row in character's tree skills beyond this arbitrary number of 48 do not show up in the UI. The problem is I was making a mod called johnny's expanded magic that would allow characters like morathi, teclis, alarielle, ariel, mazdamundi, slann, archmages and others be able to pick spells from lores they had access to on tabletop essentially mirroring the tabletop as I understand it (a warhammer 2 mod that did something similar was sm0kin's mixed lores ). I was also making my own lore accurate spell implementations with unique graphics like arnzipal's dimensional door for dark magic, phoenix fire for high magic and beam of slaanesh for slaanesh magic. All of these spells were made by me to be select-able through modified skill trees. There were alot of skill buttons in my mod to facilitate the selection of many different combinations of spells by the player where lore accurate and new spells for different lores of magic. Now because of the skill tiers cap my mod is broken and months of work I put in is essentially ruined. I am not the only modder with this issue and many mods that affect skills will be impacted. we love being a part of this community and it makes me sad that I will never get to share my work now because of this most recent update. I dont really know where else to go and I was hoping that given your close relationship with the devs, that you could notify them that this is happening. Otherwise, it is such a small but impactful change that I dont think CA will be aware without notifying them. We think that this change was part of a ui bug fix but I am unsure which aspect of the update is responsible. Regardless of the outcome, thank you for all your videos over the years.

I hated playing dwarves for years and this dlc finally made it fun somehow for me. Watching slayers unga bunga into chaos while getting blasting charged/napalmed and then spit roasted by the thunderbarge is peak gameplay to watch.

Finally, the equivalent of Doom Guy as a Dwarf in this game.

Eh, in the books he isn't pressured to take the oath, rather the shame of Indestructible and Unsinkable destruction, which took MANY good dwarfs and engineers down with them and Malakai being the sole survivor of both, was too much to bear a non-slayer. He was banned for these disasters, not driven out.

You forgot the grape cannon shots which are literal war crime, I defended against a like 3 skaven armies with 2 of these bad boys.

I swear this new legendary hero is to buff the dwarf faction as whole because chaos dwarf essentially stole the spotlight with their own DLC drop in but now with the new legendary lord that is a slayer and engineer 🙌 he vastly improve the dwarf playstyle which is fun and awesome! Also i absolutely love ❤his gunship! Its not only powerful but it literally feels like a medieval fantasy version of a AC-130 gunship ❤🤠

Worth mentioning as well; Dragon and Daemon Slayer slayers tend to be deeply depressed; they've killed the biggest, nastiest, most monstrous things the world can throw at them - as well as potentially soloing small armies - what else is there that might be capable of killing them and fulfilling their oath?

If you’ve ever played Vermintide 2, you know how deadly Grudge Rakers can be in the hands of a single dwarf, let alone a battle line. I mean, also keep in mind that the typical gunpowder infantry unit in Warhammer Fantasy is going to be using a single shot rifle or pistol before they have to reload. Not only is this a shotgun in a largely single shot world, it’s double barreled. No wonder these guys make magic radiation guns in Age of Sigmar.

As a hairy short king with a red beard, obsession with good beer, and guns I now feel obligated to get back into WH3 and buy this DLC.....

I really hope they add Snorri in as a hero eventually.

Malakai Makallison has gotta be one of the cooler characters in WHFantasy, because of the fact he is a slayer, AND an engineer. So not only do you get to kill harder, you get to die just as hard too. WHO DOESNT LOVE THAT?

I'm sorry, I know I'm biased cus I love the Thunderbarge mod from TWW2, but with everything else the Dwarves still won this series of DLC handily. Mini-Kratos slayers, another low-tech siege weapon that just freakin' yeets axes and yet still keeps a few to work like an infantry thresher later, and a proper official Thunderbarge atop that.

He did actually get forced to take the oath because of "kinslaying". The failures of the Indestructible and the Unsinkable cost many, many, MANY Dwarven lives. Many of said lives also being invaluable members of the Engineering Guild.
