All reviews are as thorough as possible. The noodles are cooked according to the manufacturer's instructions using only the contents of the product package unless otherwise indicated. This ensures that the review is as unbiased as possible and evaluates whether or not a product is worth a purchase either as a standalone meal or as a base that you could spruce up.
At long last, Momofuku has debuted two new flavors in their line of noodles in partnership with A-Sha! This first one appears to be a totally original sauce recipe based on sweet and spicy Korean gochujang paste. Watch this detailed review to see if this flavor is a winner or not!

I think this noodle is an attempt to replicate a common Korean dish called bibimmyun originally using some noodles. It is supposed to be a cold dish. I recommend you boil the noodles then rinse in cold water then add the sauce packet. Add some sliced sliced cucumbers and a hard boiled egg.

I am familiar with bibimmyun from some of my older reviews, and yes, I could absolutely see this working as a cold dish as well.

I really love their sesame soy flavor and look forward to the next Ginger soy that's coming out. The noodles are amazing and I wish I could have those noodles with every other ramen. I would like to give you recommendation (if I haven't already) to purchase something to try on some of your noodles or other Asian food. It's from a company called Cinsoy Foods and their chili crisp is amazing and it's not too spicy. They actually put star anise, cinnamon, and shiitake mushrooms along with what chili crisp normally has. It has a very different flavor than most chili crisp flavors I have tried and I love it and so does my fiance.

Funny you mentioning chili crisp; I was thinking about doing more supplement videos and, when I ordered these new noodles, bought a 4-pack of Momofuku's chili crisp to review. I'll definitely put yours on the list. My current favorite chili crisp that I've been literally pouring on everything I eat has been Momoya Taberu Layu.

@@thenoodlejourney I also have momofuku chili crisp that I just bought but I haven't opened yet. I think it's awesome to review additives to make ramen more personalized. Good idea. Cinsoy is out of Ohio I believe and they are I think the only company who's making small batch soy sauce here in the US and they make miso and a couple other products I think. I really hope you like their chili crisp if you try it. I'm not going to lie, when I first tasted it I was a bit I guess put off. It wasn't what I was expecting because of the sweet spices added to it but it became addictive after the first bite. The sweet spices may not work with every type of ramen flavor so I would taste it first on rice or something before deciding which one to add it to.

Absolutely! I personally love the combination of gochujang and shrimp due to the sweetness, and that would work perfectly here. Chicken would also go very well.
