Come with us on a spectacular coastal walk through Noosa National Park on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, in Queensland. The Noosa National Park is the most visited national park in Australia. It spans over 2000 hectares and has dramatic cliffs, coastal trails, beautiful bays and lush hinterland tracks. The Coastal Walk runs from the Noosa National Park day-use area just outside of Hastings Street, all the way to Sunshine Beach. You can start from either end, but we always begin the walk from Noosa...
FACTS
* The Coastal Walk is 5.4 km each way (10.8 km in total)
* Allow at least four hours to do the full circuit
* The starting point is at the Noosa day-use area (or the northern end of Sunshine Beach)
* The path is paved from the Noosa day-use area until Dolphin Point - approximately 1.2 km. (After this point, it's a dirt track).
WHERE DID WE GO?
Noosa National Park Coastal Walk
Palm Grove Circuit, Noosa Heads QLD 4567
WHERE DID WE EAT?
OLAKINO Acai bowls, vegan food, smoothies & coffee
4/52 Hasting Street, Noosa Heads 4567.
Opening hours
Monday to Sunday 6am - 5pm

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!
Our videos are posted weekly 😊 (we aim for Thursdays).

Thanks Finlay 🤗 Yes, we were lucky! We didn’t see the small rock but it was very loud when it hit and a quarry truck drove past so we think it came out of their open tray…

Good day Beth and Paul, we enjoy looking at your Queensland videos. My wife Jane and I found Noosa during our first trip Australia in September 2017, we returned in September 2019 and will be back again staying for a few days during the first week in November. Jane would like to walk the Noosa National Park trail starting from Sunshine beach. We are UK/Canadian ‘would-be’ retirees who would love to be able to spend more time in the Noosa hinterland area. Best wishes, Mark

G’Day Mark and Jane 🤗 we can understand why you would return to Noosa…we used to holiday there from Melbourne years before we moved north to Queensland to settle permanently. Noosa National Park is wonderful and starting the walk from Sunshine Beach is a great option ☀️ We hope you have a great holiday 😊

Hi Vanessa 🤗 Thanks so much, we love taking our viewers with us when we visit our favourite spots and Noosa is right up there! It’s not very nice when a stone hits your windscreen, but we were determined it wouldn’t spoil our day 😉 But we were also over the moon when we found out after breakfast that we wouldn’t have to pay a huge excess! Honestly, once we were walking and looking at those sea views, we had completely forgotten about the windscreen ❤️

Mornings are the best time at the beach, better parking opportunities if you’re early and the crisp air with the warmth of the sun is just bliss. Love the intro views of fog - so pretty. Wow, big crack on the windscreen! Great they have a defib machine so far in, certainly needed with how long it would take to get medical help up there. Is Olakino new in the last few years? I’ve never seen it before but looks awesome.

I hope your windscreen is ok. I’m glad you weren’t injured! After watching your lovely video, we drove up to Noosa and ate that amazing Açai from the cafe you suggested. It was delicious! Then we did the walk and were so lucky to see pods of dolphins playing all along our walk. Great recommendations- again! Thank you so much. We had such a great day. 😊😊😊

The Coastal Walk through Nossa National Park reminds Harriet and I of a town called Ogunquit, Maine with a Coastal Walk called the Marginal Way. So many similarities. We live in parallel worlds that mirror each other. We are so happy to hear you survived a rock hit to the car .Hope to visit very soon. Sending you much love💖💖💖 from Harriet, Jim and Yuki. Hard to find adequate words to describe this wonderful national park. Yes, only dirt tracks back in the 80's. Walked the full trail with my daughter recently, delightful day...the cook and the chef, the only show I can watch reruns after midnight 😀

@BethandPaultravel
@BethandPaultravel Жыл бұрын
Hi Alastair 🤗 Yes, it’s a fantastic place for a walk…we read yesterday that it’s the most visited National Park in Australia. Fog is common during winter in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland early in the mornings and late at night. We love watching the fog lift over the hills when we have our breakfast on the balcony 😊

Hi Julie, yes this is a ‘must do’ thing for your list! It’s absolutely beautiful ❤️ Yeah, bad luck about the windscreen…but almost inevitable that it will happen when we travel 50k kms a year on mostly rural roads. Maggie B looked terrific…just like she does on TV 🤗

Hi @New Zealand Earthmover 🤗 $50 seems like a good deal. Yes, we’ve never had one so big hit us before. It made a loud bang, so we immediately knew what it was. It’s inevitable when we drive on country roads….

Tasmania is a great spot, but we’re fairly sure they also get their share of sharks down there…We found out on Friday that the windscreen company will come to our home to put the new windscreen on and we’re happy about that as we live in a quiet rural area and didn’t think they would cone out here 🤗
