It has begun! We are in Liverpool for this week's contest and will be documenting our journey as we embark on as press, today I had a chat with Spain's representative for this year's contest, the amazing Blanca Paloma.

No pierdas tu tiempo en responder a ciertas entes, los Haters siempre aparecen sea quien sea la persona entrevistada . Le dan más visibilidad si cabe con cada comentario que escriben sobre alguien . Eso aunque ellos no lo crean … ayuda en visibilidad 😊😘❤️

she cannot learn in a few weeks she´s doing ok - I´m one of the few Brits who know other languages - it´s rare - it would of course help her for promotional purposes

I've said before that if Finland (my favorite) or Sweden (the bookies' favorite) doesn't win, Spain is both my pick for most likely to pull off an upset over either of them and probably the one I'd be happiest with winning other than Finland! She's really talented and this is a great interview! Cheers from NYC.

I am Spanish living in London. I've been following you since last year, I like you a lot. Thank you for this and being so respectful. Blanca is very natural and very talented. And even if Finland or Israel won, Blanca did an outstanding job. We'll see what happens this Saturday.

From what i'm able to gather from her, she lives in the same area of Spain as the best friend I had at school! You can hear in her song the ethnic elements, the flamenco from Alicante!

@@lanara2004 Yo lo he entendido. Se refiere a la influencia. Hay mucho Andaluz< que en su día emigró así como los gitanos que están en todos los sitios. Elbicho si no me estoy equivocando son de Alicante. Lo mismo pasa en Cataluña que es la pequeña Andalucía. Yo soy de Badalona y de allí salió Miguel Poveda. Así que si, las raíces son Andaluzas pero esparcidas por todo el territorio.
