Nope! I crashed the van and ruined my new paint job!
Do things ever go to plan? Nope! The plan was a quick van build update but having been pushed slightly off the road into a bush I soon realised I had damaged my new paint job!

"Travel with Gary and Amika"
Welcome to the Official Travel with Gary and Amika KZfaq Channel, a father daughter combo capturing campervan style travel vlogs in and around the mountains, beaches, campsites and wild camping fully off grid.
Gary is dedicated to his daughters future and enjoys documenting her passion for life, which is apparent through Amikas constant giggling and smiles. He is well travelled having visited some 39 countries, however this quickly became difficult to continue when Amika was born. With his love for travel he wasnt going to let being a single father tie him down. When Amika was just 5 they jumped on a plane and backpacked around Romania and have since visited France and Spain twice exploring the Pyrenees mountain range.
In January 2022 Gary bought on old builders van and converted into a fully off grid tiny home on wheels with the aim of getting out and about as much as possible to see more of the world. KZfaq seemed the perfect way to documented these travels and to take a step into the world of becoming a digital nomad.
Gary and Amika both thank you for being here and hope that through their videos they can bring you a sense of adventure, a lots of laughter and with a clear message that you should never grow up and never take life too seriously!

I crash into bushes all the time! Glad the Solbio does the job for you! I refuse to use anything else! I also put some in my grey water tank. The van was already looking good, amazed you make it even better!

It's a ball ache when others cause things to happen, luckily it was a scratch. Mine needed new bumper and back door 😮

Another little tip for a freshser smelling chemical toilet, get some concentrated Ecover all purpose cleaner and put a small dose in the flushing water tank when you fill it up. Every time you flush you get a nice smell and it cleans along the way! :) And it's eco friendly!

oh no......poorly bus has bush rash😥 . Gary can fix it. He has the technology. thanks for the link for the toilet stuff. I'll get some for my new uber luxury pump action toilet. The van looks loved and lived in and making memories which is what you want. My mate lives in Sheffied and we have been meeting up in our van's in Lytham for a few weeks. He's suggested Stannidge edge so we are giving it a go next weekend. from what you've shown of it, looks great. Bessy regs- Kenny

You could use vinyl wrap on the cupboards I have it on all my cabinets etc it's pretty hard wearing you do need to use a heat gun to apply it but they're not expensive

Yeah mate really bloody annoying. St a big van show in a few days, had to bring the paint with me. Lights are great, can't wait to add the rest of them soon.

War wound 😮, nowt you can’t fix, just gutting when it happens. That was a good update, had me a bit dizzy though, you were quite hyper, my eyes couldn’t keep up with the telly 😂😂😵‍💫 unbelievable how far the van has come along considering it was a blank canvas and you are Uber busy fitting everything in…adventure, work, being a dad… good for you Gary. Thanks for noticing! ❤️ I think it's about chipping away when you can, when I travel I tend to do little jobs. Thursday morning I'm going to be wood and build a side unit cover in a park up while I wait for van life fest to open haha

Try spraying with raptor paint it won't scratch. It's extremely hard wearing

M8, have you looked into using Upol Raptor.. done my sprinter in it, and it looks sound, you cannot scratch it, and it's tiltable. Comes with the spray gun. If you don't want to spray it on, you can get the Upol roller and roll it on.. You'll love it m8 itl cst you around 200 and worth every penny.

Way to get people to quickly look at your video. I was assuming that if you or Amika were hurt you would not be posting. A scrape on the side of the van can be fixed. I know it is not what you wanted but I am glad things are not worse.

Leather is not smooth so the natural look is good, problem with laminate and chip board if they get wet the glue breaks down and they fall apart best to go for marine ply. Sadly Gary in the thirty plus years I have been driving noticed the standards have dropped even with a three & a half ton pickup truck with a bar on the front still get people wanting to play chicken hopefully you got the idiot on dashcam. Reference dashcam as I stated before Nextbase do a hardwire kit I had the garage fit mine it is basically the plug that goes to the camera on a long wire and the relevant fuses and accessories, they have run all cables between the headliner then behind the A pillar trim into the fuse box. Stay safe and watch for 🤬 idiots

Thanks mate. I've added the leather and it looks quite good... I think... Didn't have the dash cam on. Only really use it for KZfaq 😂 Good effort on the hardwire. To be honest the cable is about 3 or 4 metres long so I can hard wire it that anyway 😂
