A different style of Nordhavn the Coastal Pilots are very nice but I'm still an original Nordhavn lover

Now we're talking. Good layout, useability. Take the 1k boom off and put on a 1500 absolutely cherish the engine room. 18 knots, Whoa! Nothing on the fuel capacity, I think or range, but them power plants set back to one and economized could do wonders. This one has the potential to fathom many oceans and lagoons.

Beautiful layout - pretty pretty. And it can go faster when needed.

That is a beautiful boat with lots of great features. I really like the eye-level breaker panel and the galley layout.

Absolutely stunning amazing quality vessel, love the distribution of the cabins ,the space utilisation is amazing, the engine room brilliant although I will be missing the fishing space in the account of the extended saloon, love both arrangements. I'm having this one in my top list as I have an extensive coastal voyage plans ahead, and CP59 is just the perfect choice for my plans, will be intouch soon in near future to make this happen! If there was ever a boat to live on year round and cruise where ever you want, Norhavn has it!

The layout is a lot better on this version.. I prefer the galley forward and the four cabins are perfect. I believe this nordhavn is alot better for east coast cruising. The speed is a lot better and the draft is so much better. The other nordhavns are good but the draft is horrible for places like Florida Bahamas and Chesapeake bay. The extra speed is a plus top. The nordhavns that only go 9 are far to slow. The slow speed makes for a horrible ride in rough weather. It would be nice to see a 68ft version! That little extra room I think would be a big seller. I still love the look and decks. Nordhavns are easy to clean and maintain! Those fancy looking boats are just for looks. You'll spend everyday maintaining them. The cost to maintain every deck and rail covered in teak will have you hating yourself. Nordhavn gets the exterior of a boat right. Sea water destroys anything fancy in no time

Not a fan of the Athwartships berth. That is always a hard no for me on a boat. If that was changed and a heavier boom. I do like that you have started moving towards semi- displacement models that can go fast when needed but you can throttle back to displacement speeds for fuel efficiency. I would be interested seeing some fuel burn numbers.

I understand what they're doing, and so far I think all the new designs have been huge hits...I hope they keep up their reputation with this turnkey program.

Are there bow and stern thruster controls anywhere besides the main helm inside and on the flybridge? This length of a boat would certainly benefit from a helm station in the cockpit and another near the dinghy for docking and navigating locks in canals. Did I miss seeing them? I also prefer a door to the immediate right of the main, interior helm seat so you can quickly step out and see the entire starboard side of the boat when handling the boat in tight areas and using the thrusters.

With substantial help from the engineroom: 7.5/10. Personally hate the look of that flybridge (would like an insulated skylounge with openable roof or just a "sedan" with roof acsess), to much plain white surfaces and the inside looks nice but strangly "cheap". Don't know what it is, hard to put my finger on it...

I don't get this. Why not just get a 60? A 59? What?
