I ride my Triumph Tiger 800 XCX from south of Sweden through most of Norway in summer 2019. I visit Geiranger, Trollstigen, Atlantic Coast Highway, Lofoten, Tromsö and Nordkapp.

Nice trip, good video! Drove up there in June 2018, from South coast Finland. I hope Sweden and Finland had at least something to offer you after those majestic Norwegian landscapes. Drive safe.

Richard, you should make much more videos! Do you live in Sweden? Scandinavia (and Iceland) is definitely my favourite part of Europe. I visited them all except Finnland.

Lofoten Islands were the highlight for me, I also had fantastic weather 28C on the islands!

Meget bra film som har fått med seg høydepunktene på veien. Jeg har hatt to turer til Nordkapp, så veien er ikke helt fremmed for meg. Kjekt å se igjen.

Really nice video :-) Such beautifull roads up there in Norway... I am hoping to be able to much of the same trip my self at one point, maybe even this year, but most likely it will be 2021 :-) Thx for the video, and inspiration :-) P.S.... I read in one of the commentary that you maybe would be sharing your some of the routes you took on the way to Nordkapp ;-) Would be AWESOME!!!

Tråkigt att det krånglade med filmeriet för visst är det ju kanonfint uppe i Nord-Tröndelag minsann och vidare upp över saltfjellet,men nu har du ju en anledning att åka igen o fota :)

Sant! =) Det här var dock 3.e sommaren i Norge, så nästa resa bär av någon annanstans. Med bättre kamerautrustning dessutom.

@@richardstark6625 Skulle åkt upp till ett litet paradis jag har nu i somras för 36,e ggn(tror jag)men ekonomin satte stopp så får bli 2020 istället.Brukar fiska i Namsen vid Brekkvasselv camping.Härlig natur där uppe.Sen blir det en fjälltur söderut på väg hem genom Möre-Romsdal och Sogn och Fjordane.Härliga vägar där :)

Thanks! Yes I had my own tent and cooked with camping gear. But I stayed in a hotel during the night at Nordkapp. A GPX file is route data that GPS navigators use 👍

Cool me an a friend are over there next year did you save the route looks fantastic I'm trying to find some routes to do looking a spending around 3 to 4 weeks setting off to back home

Awesome! Well basically I followed as much of the coast/fjords as I could with a rough idea about the stints each day. But I ended up exploring a lot more than planned. I would suggest to follow the coast and stay away from the main roads, spend more than a day in Lofoten and just spend time there going north until you cant get further north 😋 But I will look through my gps and reroute my trips 👍 Good idea! (I can share it in the discription later)

No gloves up there in France it’s law to wear gloves all the time I am planning my trip to Nordkapp for June 2021 I have a Honda crosstourer 1200 x DCT

I took off the gloves as I paid for the parking/entrance =) So it was only the last few meters

Kan rekommendera mer än 1 dag i Lofoten, där är mycket att se. Och kan man stanna och vandra lite så är det nog värt det. Ja min kamera var verkligen ett nerköp. Nästa gång blir det GoPro =)
