You raise a good point, it might have been a Marsh Harrier, I'm sure your knowledge is far better than mine; I'm in the process of trying to learn what the different birds of prey look like on The Broads. Thanks for letting us know when Hardley Mill is open for visitors - it's certainly a mooring that we would like to stay at one day in the future.

Sorry for the confusion, I think it was a mixture of the wind and me speaking too quickly; it was Sunday the 30th of April that we picked up the boat (we handed the boat back on 7th May). We are guessing that you were there in May then? You never know, our paths may cross in the future. If you do ever see us, please give a wave! We are back in July!
