Norfolk Coastal Half - plus a bit!

10 ай бұрынCome with me on a beautiful half-marathon (plus a bit extra) along the North Norfolk Coast.
We run from Burnham Overy Staithe to Morston Quay along the Norfolk Coastal Path, via Holkham, Wells next the Sea and Stiffkey - and then I run another 5 miles to Blakeney and back afterwards!

I'm a middle-aged, leisure runner who enjoys the countryside - why not come along with me as I explore new places and find out about them?

Thank you for recording and sharing. My wife ran this on Saturday too, and its good to get these glimpses of what she enjoyed about the course. I was waiting and watching at the Holkham junction for a while; a loose horse bolted up the path from the beach minutes before you passed by - fortunately no runners affected!

Thanks Joan - I was a bit apprehensive myself, but I had been pacing myself - knowing that the finish wasnt the finish! Not as bad as you might think, after a 5 minute break and a dry shirt!

Julian are you running Beachy solo? Myself and Rob are running it, we are both FVS club runners, and Rob wondered if you wanted to join us at Beachy? Part or all way up to you. Let me know if you do. There are several Spartans going but alot are walking the route, we are not.

Hi Tony - glad to hear there will be some Spartans! Thanks for the offer, but there's a big contingent from Royston Runners going down too, so I am likely to be running with some of those - and videoing too of course! And I'm not in particularly good shape - big test this weekend on the Gower!
