That's true to some extent, it is boring to watch because half of it just them running around and looting items. Depends on how you play it. Streamers who are really good at the game take every fight that they see. On higher ranks and tournaments like these there tends to be a huge downtime because everyone is scared on dying early and not getting any points. Also apex is crazy huge in japan which is why tournaments like these are pretty common. People watch the tournament to root for their favourite streamer/team is part of the fun of it.
