I'm in New Zealand, and I remember when a couple and in the mid 2000s, we had a couple of Japanese drifters come over for a D1NZ event, and they were entering the front straint of Pukekohe in 3rd and using throttle control through the corner where as all the kiwi drives were just bouncing off the limiter in 2nd. Pretty sure we've come a long way since then 😂

always great to get new content from ya! But Kimi's statement was because he was actually a very talented hockey player as well. He didn't like getting up early and going down to the ice for practice first thing in the morning. I suppose with motorsports, at least you aren't getting up first thing in the morning and exercising right off the bat. As a fan of both Hockey and Motorsport, I see his logic. He's also good friends with the GM of a NHL team (Columbus Blue Jackets) and every great once in a while, when he's in the states while the team is playing a home game, Jarmo will invite him down to attend the game. They even had a jersey/sweater made up for Kimi. There's a old photo floating around where Jarmo, Rick Nash, and Kimi standing around the Alfa F1 trailer with Kimi holding his Columbus sweater.
