This is comedy in its purest form. Highlighting reality with jokes and let the world pick up whatever's left and do whatever tf they want with it. Jerry looks concerned in a couple shots there, and I don't think it's because of the jokes but because this was a secret in Hollywood at the time and Norm wanted to air it all out. Nobody wanted to play ball with him so nothing but jokes was left of it all back then. Cosby's sentencing and handling of the case is still a fucking joke, just no one laughing at the punchline anymore

The best part about Norm’s jokes is that sometimes they aren’t even really jokes. I unironically think he made such a good point. He essentially says, often times we get so caught up in the sensationalism and insignificant details of a scandal that we lose sight of the actual problem.

When Seinfeld was on Late Show the host Stephen Colbert said he couldn’t enjoy Cosby’s work anymore because he’s a monster. Seinfeld tried to make the argument that you can separate the art from the artist, then they went to commercial and when they came back Seinfeld decided Colbert was right. So I suppose he and Colbert had a little chat during the break.

With something like comedy, The Art IS The Artist - it all stems as a byproduct of their personality I always think Woody Allen is a great example, his films were all based around his neurotic character, the art and the artist were almost inseparable
