the only safe way to do that is to fill it with water .... steel on steel makes sparks

"There was gasoline in the drum", so therefore I strike it with 2 solid steel objects. I nominate this video for the Darwin Awards. Actually, it will probably self-nominate soon!! Absolutely f*cking insane. Not in a good way.
