We ventured around the Queensland outback town of Normanton. There was so much information to discover & the locals have done a fantastic job of having information boards up at various locations informing of the history of the location.
Home of the 8 metre crocodile, the infamous Purple Pub, the Gulflander train, for a small town it surely had a lot to offer!
Our caravan park had the Artisan Thermal spa which comes from a 700m bore & a fabulous 25 metre swimming pool, which was welcome in the 33 degree (Celsius) heat!!
We would highly recommend putting Normanton on your list of places to see.
