I think its pretty smart because it makes the other players think you have that colour, they avoid it thus giving you a better chance next time round.

He does that every single time he has a chance to pick a colour. And nearly any time he has a chance to change to colour with a duplicate number, he does. Even if he has the proper colour in his hand. It’s very interesting

he actually doesn't, from what I observed he chooses a color he doesn't have to bluff having that color, or switches away from a color to bluff not having it, but when he has a majority of one color and not a lot of other cards he goes for that color so he can actually play

It's so the other players think you have/want that color, so they'll try to switch it if they can, giving you a 1/3 chance of ending on the right color for you instead of a 1/4 chance of failing.

Because if there are 4 players and you make it whatever colour your final card is, there are at least three turns that you have to hope the colour doesn’t change. The chances are much higher than 1/4. I’m not going to even try to calculate every possible probability because it’s way too much work, but you have to think about all 8 cards in the deck that are capable of changing the colour and depending on how many cards some people may have in their hand at any given time, the odds could change drastically. Plus you have to think of all of the numbers of each colour. Each colour has 19 number cards. Two sets of 1-9 and a 0. So with 8 different cards of each number, and 8 different cards to change the colour, and three separate turns with the possibility to change it, and with everybody knowing that you’re on your last card and are probably eager to change it… those odds are probably really high. And that’s not to mention with everybody out to get you, there are 8 skip cards and 8 draw 2 cards and 8 reverse cards that are all likely to be used against you increasing the chances that you’ll have to draw or they’ll change the colour. So it’s probably best to not say your own colour. The odds are stacked against you on that one.

For some reason, on the online version, it online goes by color, not number.

Uno's official rules say that you can only play a Wild 4 if you don't have the color currently atop the discard pile, but also states you are allowed to play it if you have the number on top. With Laurie not having a yellow, that play is considered legal

She probably moved to England after college or something. I think she might actually be Adam's girlfriend. They do seem to have chemistry and she's been in most of the Phenoma-nerds videos. Once had to use a second deck of uno cards because of the stacking rule. I hate it with a passion but also love it.

Used to play something at school like Uno using regular playing cards, but a major difference was being allowed to play runs of cards if it was it was the same number and suit, or if it was the next number in sequence in the suit, so players could shed a number of cards quickly

i challenge rule came from Up UP down down gameplay where they ALWAYS challenge a plus 4 wild. And you get lot of Respect. It more fun online then playing in Real life.

Yeah, that's part of the issue - it's not a great game, but it can open up lots of banter which is entertaining and people equate that with the game instead of finding a good game that allows the banter too
