38:23 Actually, pandas are no longer classified as Endangered by the IUCN. Due to successful conservation efforts, they're now classified as Vulnerable (one level above), which is good news.

Yea.. there were a few other mistakes, but if you watch NRBs for everything being spot on, then you will be disappointed. If you watch because they are funny as hell and have greats bits! well, then you are in the right place.

@@TheLastSane1 but wild giant pandas are sexually active between the ages of 4 and 20. I think the idea that pandas are asexual in nature comes from the fact that scientists have mostly failed at forced breeding in order to help repopulate them.

At 57:37 there isn't 2 sets of bamboo that are 3 high. The gardener cards require specific heights for the bamboo stalks.

15:37 - unfortunately the Panda cannot just eat the bamboo at the tile it was before. If you decide to use the Storm weather effect, you MUST move the Panda to another tile. In the rules it does say that "Player CAN put the panda...", however the "can" applies to your choice of using or ignoring the Storm effect. It is mentioned in the FAQ ("If the player chooses to apply the effect of the storm, he has to move the panda to another plot (the panda cannot stay where he is in order to eat a section there)."

16:52 - I believe the adjacent tile should get a bamboo too, as it states in the rules: "He grows a section of bamboo on the plot where he finishes his move" As it turns out, the plot with fence is green, just like the plot visited by the gardener. (edit) Yes, this mistake is corrected at 21:28

Also, I think every player in the first round should skip the weather, not just the first player. It mentions players (as in plural): "weather comes into play during the second round of play. In the first round, and proceed directly to the next".

mmm lots of things went wrong there, but the atmosphere was so fantastic (btw there is a new version of this game, i miss the hexagon improvements though, they were replaced with ugly rings.) - new version rules : -> Gardener must stand on the tile / one of the tiles of his objective. -> You can actually grow a piece of bamboo on a not irrigated tile when it rains. -> you cannot store improvements / channels anymore they have to be placed immediately, when improvements are not in pantry anymore, you may move them from a tile and put it on another tile. -> improvements can be placed on already sprouted tiles -> you may choose to roll the weather die in the first round instead of starting from the second round.

Sully made a illegal move in his last turn that cost him his new objective. At 1:03:20 if he kept moving forward to the yellow tile with only one piece of bamboo he'd have access to the green tile.

Actually you can move the panda to a random place when you roll a lighting, that's the one time the panda doesn't have to move in a straight line so he can be placed anywhere (because the story goes that the panda gets scared of the lighting and has to run and eat bamboo to calm down at any location where he can). But i do agree he lost his new objective by putting the panda there, if he had moved it up one more (to the other yellow) he could've reached any color.

@@jadent2632 yes he could have. But he didn't know what he would pull from the cards so the last yellow would have been better since he could do an action with the panda and it would have given him the choice to go to every color.

I was waiting if they'll notice it, they didn't. But I'm pretty sure that two of Laurie's points were invalid (at 42:30 for one of them), because of the rules state here 23:35 .
