Nice!, very beautiful Guitar mate, ⁣hope I can also have one in the future.👌 BUT don't say that you don't need any more guitars.😅 I also said that when I have my second guitar, from then on I always say "I just need another one, and I'll stop." But GAS is a guitarists' disease that can't be stopped. Now I have 15 guitars and counting.🤭

The only issue with this video is that you keep saying you don't "need" anymore guitars. As guitar players, we all know need is never the driving factor, it's the want. 😂 Congrats on that beautiful 594, and look forward to your next new guitar day video 😂😁🤘

The famous “Excalibur” guitar, a lot of guitarist buy and sell tons searching for that one, but that not exist. The most of legends just get adapted to their instruments for practice thousands of ours with it, EVH made magic with basically a kit of Charvel b-stock parts, Nuno Bettencourt make a kit with Washburn parts, he was poor and never could get it painted, with the time ended loving the unfinished look, Bryan May’s the red special was made of living room furniture parts. I think the guitarists find their Excalibur not with the best guitar, but with the instrument that they dedicate the most time to.

Once people admit that its about the chase, the hunt for buried treasure they like and not about the guitar as much, they realize the marketing / propaganda companies have been putting out for decades is all about marketing. Every year Gibson says they have made THE BEST one yet, when actually its just a new color.

I found my "forever" bass, a '76 rickenbacker 4001, as a teenager back in the 90s...but that hasn't stopped me from collecting more anyway

Your channel really connects with me. We are the same age so we have a lot of similarities even our journey is not exactly the same but I have traveled a parallel path to what you have. I have always played gibson growing up and then went into trying so many exotic guitars and different specs but only 34-40 guitars. I have landed back on a PRS HBII and searching for that 594 that connects with me perfectly. That guitar is beautiful and it is nice to see that your opinion is similar in ways to mine because I almost felt crazy that I came back to the same specs I played as a teenager. But it is true after all this time we come back to what we always knew we liked and it is just realizing that the journey for creativity is now to begin and the collecting is now a part of your story. Congrats on your dream guitar PRS is my fave.

Great journey. I’ve owned 75+ guitars over the last 30 years and right now have 5 that are right in that sweet spot for the types of music I play and our band covers (I still own around 15 total). Three of those 5 I bought very used and rehabilitated them, customized them and upgraded them. They will never leave the stable. The rest are always on rotation.

I also found ‘The One’ and it was a PRS, 20 years ago, which is why I haven’t bought another guitar in the last 20 years, it is home, it is perfect, just like you said, it’s everything. Then I surprised myself last month and bought a secondhand Squier thinline tele, of all things, something I never thought I’d be interested in but had this overwhelming urge to get it when I came across it on Facebook marketplace whilst looking for a new amp. Life is full of surprises, I really thought I was done but you just never know! ❤

I’ve had so many different guitars and the one Epiphone I really love and still have is the LesPaul special 2 TV yellow, had three Gibson Les Pauls and they all had issues.

I get this.. I have and had every guitar I ever wanted. Mostly higher end guitars including boutique guitars and Custom Shop Fenders but I fell in love with a PRS McCarty I bought 3 years ago. If I had to live with one guitar it would be that one and honestly I’ve stopped buying, selling and trading since.. all I want now is another PRS 513 because I made the mistake of selling the one I had. My main guitar will forever be my McCarty though

I had the exact same journey. I’m didn’t “need” any more guitars but still bought some others that I use for different things because I’m very active. Mine was a Private stock SC250, found specd exactly the way I would spec it. I too bought sold 150 ish guitars to learn what I like and learn how to analyze a guitar. This PRS is my solid #1! I’ve only got the guitars I use often which is still 23 guitars and 2 bass guitars. I don’t think we ever stop buying and learning. Finding that majic #1 did change things because now that the things I like are no longer a theory in my head, I have been able to find some of the best guitars I ever found since I know exactly how to find it.

They say it's not the destination, but the Journey, they are only partially correct. It's both. At some point you have to be content with where you have gotten.
