Absolutely. That kid has springs in his shoes. He is one heck of an athlete, and he is being aggressive yet smart on defense and had a couple of key baskets, he played outstanding.

You see it, too. Coach Davis is getting exactly what he wants from these young men, and it's obvious they trust him and respond to his intensity by being intense as well. We got guys coming in off the bench, playing better than any bench in the tournament. Trimble was the one who changed the flow of the game after that timeout, and Withers and Washington, in my opinion were as dominant as the starters!

Love the fact that it sounded like the Dean Dome in there. Hubert Davis' early season strategy of getting these guys on the road against top opponents is beginning to pay dividends. They took their lumps early, but they learned how to tough games out. Now they are battle tested and ready. When they get punched, they punch back, hard. I like their chances going to the final four.

I'm sure it's a hit to his confidence for teams to leave him open. He still needs to attack first and take the bait on occasion. He hasn't been a shooter all year, so I don't think the solution for him is to keep chucking them up. For us to make a deep run we really just need him to rack up assists and not turn the ball over. We got other guys that can score and his main focus should be facilitating for those guys.

That GC defense was ferocious I’m impressed with their coach too some premier programs should take a look at the Grand Canyon coaching staff. Carolina's bench really came up big on both ends of the floor in this game. The bench didn't score a lot of points, but they did make some timely baskets and Trimble's defense was a huge asset. This was a good team win for the Heels, but Cadeau needs to show up big in LA or it will probably be a short stay. In the two games in Charlotte, he had a total of 6 points, 7 assists and 4 turnovers.

Because UConn is the East #1. Houston in the South Purdue in the Midwest UNC was the 4th ranked #1 seed so they get what ever if left. Geography is prioritized for the higher ranked 1 seeds. UNC would rather be #1 in west than #2 in the East or South any day

Michigan State the last 8 years: 2016 - 1st rd 2017 - 2nd round L 2018 - 2nd round L 2019 - final 4 L 2021 - First 4 L 2022 - 2nd round L 2023 - Sweet 16 L 2024 - 2nd round L They were preseason top 4 this year but bizarrely decided to lose 15 games. Tom Izzo isn't made for these different NIL/Portal times.

Still irritated that Michigan State was even selected, because the Big Ten always gets more teams selected than any other conferences despite proving itself to be the weakest Big 5 conference. I understand that Michigan State made it to the sweet 16 last year and beat a mediocre team from another sorry conference (SEC) in the opening round.... but one can't justify the selections by "they made the sweet 16 last year" and "Izzo gets his team ready for tourney" because many other bubble teams would do the same if they get 27 straight attempts. Surprised that big Ten conference will probably get 2 out of 6 teams in sweet 16...though their seeding of #1 and #3 makes the sweet 16 appearance more than likely....The two best conferences have always been...and continues to be ...the Big East and ACC, yet Big Ten teams are always selected over these proven best conferences. Again, there will be NO Big Ten teams in Final Four despite having the most opportunities for National Championship. The other point is that the SOS is really based on pre-season ranking, thus overrated conference like Big Ten will always show high SOS.

After watching unc I think Bama can beat them. Don’t have the bigger physical Guards and don’t have a massive presence in the 5. If Bama gets hot and plays some d they will beat them.

Sears 21.5 ppg to Rj Davis 21.3. Cadeau at 7.3 ppg Wrightsell at 9 ppg. The only better numbers unc has is the 3 with Ryan at .3 points per game. I like Bama if they don’t make mistakes. If this unc team had Caleb love I don’t think Bama has a shot but I don’t think unc can score with Bama.

Second off Bacot is better than clingon and is playing the best basketball of the season right now. Y’all have no defense and Carolina has shooters all over the court with RJ,cormac,Harrison. We also have a better bench and have major advantages at the 4 and 5. Ingram and Bacot will be eating your lunch all day long. Lastly… we have the best on-ball defender in the country with Seth Trimble so I’m not to concerned about sears going off at all…… your response?

Rj is good but he’s not that good.I like sears better than him sears can shoot alot better. Bama has the most 100 point games in sec history this year and unc has lost 6 of the 7 games this year when they have given 80 plus. Alabama has scored 80 plus in almost literally every game this year. Alabama is also playing it’s best defense rn. It will be a very hard fought game but I do think Bama outscores unc.
