Welcome to Day 2, part 2 of the North Coast 500!! Huzzah!
This was a long day with lots of excellent footage, and the scenery just gets better and better but I've had to split up the film as it's so much!! So welcome to Part 2 of Day 2!
On this day we went from Borgie, near Tongue, on the north coast of Scotland, to Ullapool, but here is what happened as we go from Lake Hope to the Rock Stop Cafe and Exhibition...

Very nice! Except for all those camper vans. I was last there in 1970 (in my awful VW Beetle) and there was very little traffic then. It wasn't called the North Coast 500 either - just the road from Thurso to Durness. I wonder why that Stag had his roof up? That scenery is best enjoyed roof down! Or on a bike! Great wx you had, too! I'm sorely tempted to do it in me MX5 - roof down of course unless it's actually raining (I'm a fair wx motorcyclist these days so maybe not on my Speedmaster). I'm pretty sure that big bridge you went over was a ferry back in 1970. Thanks for a smashing vid!

What an amazing amount of information! Thanks! Yes, it would definitely need a ferry to cross there unless there’s a backroad elsewhere!! Did you know also that you can make wine from gorse flowers? They're a bugger to pick but you end up with a nice country wine. Great video series too. I route I plan to do when I'm next home.

A few too many bugger me with a references. I'm really beginning to wonder about English bikers. You get Drumnadrochit pronunciation pretty good though.
