North Korean Moranbong Band: 달려가자 미래로 Dash to the Future (English Translation)
The Moranbong Band, also known as Moran Hill Orchestra, is an all-female music group in North Korea whose members were selected by the country's supreme leader Kim Jong-un. Performing interpretive styles of pop, rock, and fusion, they are the first all-female band from the DPRK, and made their world debut on July 6, 2012. Their varied musical style has been described as symphonic because it is "putting together different kinds of sounds, and ending in a harmonious, pleasing result.

They've got their own nuclear programme and space satellite programme, despite being extremely poor, and my country (the UK, 5th richest country in the world) has neither - we rent our nukes from the USA and our satellites from the EU. They've achieved an awful lot on their own in North Korea.
@user-zm8xv8tl2l
@user-zm8xv8tl2l 3 жыл бұрын
@@BritishJuche Like they haven't had help from other countries. UN and South Korean food aid to barely keep their citizens ALIVE, soviet union funding that helped pave the way of their nuclear research, seizing money abroad through online hacking operations to further fund their endeavours, illegal trading at sea (mainly yellow sea and coast of China) and illegal border trade with China, sending construction workers to Russia to earn higher salaries and taking 70%+ of those salaries for government use. Why do you think they've gone into a state of emergency when the soviet union collapsed, when sanctions have been levied or even in the current case of illegal trade due to fears of a corona outbreak. They've hardly achieved anything on their own.
@BritishJuche
@BritishJuche 3 жыл бұрын
@@user-zm8xv8tl2l Yeah I know about the Soviet subsidies, and the hell of the 90s, but the new country they've built since 2000 is their own. The famines are long over. Of course they have some relations, all countries do 😂
@user-zm8xv8tl2l
@user-zm8xv8tl2l 3 жыл бұрын
@@BritishJuche Then how can you say they've achieved things 'on their own' when they've relied on other countries so much? The 'new country' they've built has relied almost entirely on foreign connections, primarily China for resources and a source of income. As for the famines, it's clear that food shortage isn't as bad as during the arduous march, but it is still accepting a considerable amount of food rations for the South and the United Nations. Defectors that have even defected within the past 10 years have attributed food shortage as one of their main reasons for defection.
