From traditional dishes like tavce gravce to the classic cevapi, Macedonian food surprised me by its incredible flavors and its unique dishes. The classic Macedonian street food is TOST, a round bread toasted on sandwich maker filled with salami, yellow cheese, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and must have cabbage salad also, so the sandwich becomes very thin.

You are misspronouncing the name of Skopje. It's pronounced more like scope-ye. Not shkopye.

That tavce gravche looks dry. There are other places where it's much better, like Nadzak in Debar Maalo part of Skopje.

The beans are more reddish in color. They’re not white beans. As for the juice/sauce, it’s been baked so it’s more of the juice from the meat that seeps into the beans

its a really long process of making but the end result is so good, they are white beans, boiled for like 6 hours and then put in the oven for like 2-3 more hours, its really good one of my fav food
