Good job, mr. Armitage! In life, those favorite scenes became realistic through acting. Good for you! My favorite parts.. when she kissed your hand... and your response. Love came alive....and alighted in your heart.... for us all to see. You were transformed in that moment. Can't get amy better than that, sir. I became your biggest fan in that moment. Love manifested and I felt it. The whole world felt it....thank you. Not enough of it in our movies. Love you.....

For me, one of my favorite scenes was toward the end when Higgins reveals that he thought she would go to Spain. The look on Thorton's face when the revelation hit him is priceless. That turned it around for him to have hope afterall.

I see you wrote this 8 years ago, my goodness, but you're right. I love when Thornton makes that connection and he goes from dark to light in an instant. It's lovely.

I've watched this North and South series and its my fave romance ever, he really does make it real. I love how he doesn't give much away 'and the final scene at the train station, the climax. Its a nice way to spend an afternoon.'

My favourite scene is the one when Thornton learns that she kisses her brother on tue platform. His face is so sweet there.

Richard Armitage is such a brilliant actor,so very handsome and talented...he and Daniela made such a made for each other couple..how I wish they were real life couple too...having said that..Armitage is awesome as Mr.Thornton 😍

The interior shots shown here are shot in Queen's Street Mill in Burnley and in Helmshore Mill. Dalton Mill in Keighley is the exterior.

Awww I loved the bit when he talks about when Margret gets hit by the rock, how she falles to the ground regardless of whether it hit her or not and how it sometimes hit him in the face X3 and the horse poo! XD

He comes across as a method actor. Plays all his characters with the intensity, it deserves. Saw Stay Close, then North and South and now watching him in 'The Stranger'. Why are all such wonderful looking actors gay 😔😀 Wish him continued success and lucky is the guy, he is with!

Понравились артисты. Но лучше бы было больше времени для раскрытия характеров, как они пришли к финалу. Ведь на предложение был отказ... Возможно повлияло, что взяли на работу Хиггинса, а может потеря родителей. Остаётся только гадать 🥲

Очень хороший фильм во всех отношениях. Красивая пара. Но Ричард переиграл всех. Он талантливый драматический актёр, столько в нём мужской силы, страсти и любви. И всё это в сочетании с удивительным голосом, огненными глазами и яркой внешностью. Этот фильм обязательно будут пересматривать все последующие поколения.
