Lovely little owl, I didn’t know they had eye lids! I mostly watch barn owls & their eyes seem to squint not blink!

Great video, as soon as I saw the black phased grey squirrel I knew you were around the great lakes region of Erie or Ontario. These owls are small but mighty, they can take quarry up to 4 times their own weight. I am also happy I have found someone posting their live stream of their owl box, it has a Saw Whet couple, the female just laid her 3rd egg.

Great video. When I was in college I took an ornithology class and one of the trips involved trying to catch and band saw-whet owls using mist nets. We didn't catch any unfortunately lol

@@Rudy.Pohl.Ottawa A funny coincidence happened. My brother and I were taking our daily walk at dusk today and flock of eastern screech-owls were in my yard and I got videos of them. I'll post it soon lol.
