Thank you for sharing your knowledge, could you in future try to investigate if those small boards can be repaired because in other regions it is very difficult to order those boards.

I know a lot of this seems simple to you but it's very complicated to me, and I've been repairing stuff for almost a year now. I want to know why you choose the certain pins to test. If you are able to, I'd love for the next video you release to include some sort of brief explanation of why you chose to measure where you do, and why it helps you come to your conclusions. I love watching your videos and I've already learned so much. Thank you and keep posting!

Love watching you work bud. Looks easy when someone who has the tools and knows how to use them and their craft experience makes it flow but you're a business as well. Not a community college teacher in class. Nothing wrong with being a teacher but business is business. All the more power to you. I'm gaining valuable tips from your channel.

Good find. I had a Lenovo laptop that had the very same problem with a small power switch board similar to yours. Surprised it was only the power board switch and nothing else. It was super nice to have an exact board to use. Always nice to see your face light up when you get things to work.

I got to know the channel a little while ago, I'm a resident of Brazil and I'm studying electronics and I've been learning a lot with videos, thank you. As a resident of Brazil, I believed that in the USA there weren't many repair services for electronic equipment. since the equipment in the USA is relatively cheaper in relation to its purchasing power and expensive labor. For us residents of Brazil, practically all electronics are expensive because our purchasing power in relation to the dollar is almost 6 times less. the PS5 here costs almost 5 monthly salaries. God Job!

I like how you first heat up the center mass on the board below the chip to reduce heat stress on the chip. You have a logical method for everything and I think it adds longevity to your repairs. Thus happy customers.

Nice troubleshoot on a cple HP I worked on theres a protection kill diode on some , if some one trys a different charger brick or shorts it the diode frys and appears to be a dead MB, in reality its a false protection switch that basicly has no use but maybe make you spend more on their products

I guess I should say I want to see you troubleshoot that tiny board since everyone else is asking. lol I have dealt with a bunch of HP machines over the years. Their 2-in-1s are a pain in the ass because they crammed everything in place without enough electrical isolation. At least that is my current hypothesis--HP sucks beyond measure when it comes to getting the angry pixies where they need to go. I Have a stack of HP Elite x2s at the office that are all at different stages of frying themselves. Usually it is the wi-fi or the mobile broadband boards that get hit first. Then they eventually end up like the 360 you are working on in this video: No light, no charge, nothing. Honestly I am afraid to leave anything HP makes plugged in overnight/unsupervised. 8 years ago I bought an HP AIO inkjet for home use. It was a nice printer for what it cost, and the scanning wasn't too bad either. I liked it so much that I bought one for my parents. Then one day mine just stopped working and I was only able to get it to turn on after leaving it unplugged for several days. After a few weeks my parents' printer stopped working too. A whole lot of troubleshooting later and I discovered that these cheap HP inkjet printers were somehow destroying whatever outlets they are plugged into. No sounds of arcing or any obvious overheating, the outlets just die after some random number of days. And I mean these outlets are DEAD dead, no matter if they were connected to a wall outlet, power strip, UPS, what have you. I couldn't get a desk lamp to work on those outlets after they got the HP treatment. A few years later and I am trying to help a friend's parents with their printing issue... "It won't turn on, you say?" Nope. And the outlet it was connected to was dead as a doornail just like my situation. I unplugged everything and then showed them what was happening. I hauled the HP printer to a recycling center and they went shopping for a printer from "anyone but HP". These are all older incidents, but I talk myself into trying another HP product every few years or so. Same issues with slightly different behavior every time for laser printers, inkjet printers, laptops, tablets, and PCs. I still don't know how it is killing wall outlets though...no scorching, just no juice...
