Very underrated boots. Need more recognition. One can't go wrong with these boots, especially for a little over £40.

@Colinrussellscottishwildcamper , definitely. Bought a pair of similar design, build, etc to the ones you got here and have to say, they've done superbly. Only thing is you need thick socks while wearing them. Still, bargain quality boots for £42. Happy walking, Colin. Best, Alex 😀

@user-yk7vd8jd3p , to be honest, I guessed. Tried a size eight and a half, but was too big, so had to return them. Then I tried a seven and a half, which is perfect with thicker socks.

@user-yk7vd8jd3p , I also wanted some waterproof hiking boots in green and came across these. Saw the overall good reviews and thought I'd give them a try. Don't regret my choice. They've done me well and lasted me nearly three years. Bargain quality boots for a wee over £40.

There actually decent boots Wullie for the money, comfy, waterproof, very similar to my salomon GTX. Will see long term how they last, but first impressions after using them the last few weeks is there are good enough for me👍

I had these. They do leak water but were comfortable. Sole fell off after 6 months though...

I'm on my second pair of these boots, and soon to pick up a third. I don't wear them every day, but I find that they last about two years before either the water proofing fails enough to be a problem or the treads wear out enough that it matters. Which is fine for the price.

Yeah they seem decent, for that price, plus my discount code it's a steal. Been out a few hikes in them and they are comfy, havnt let any water in, seem to have a decent grip.👍

Good review Colin and I did a boot review on my go to Winter boot a year ago, which went very well but as I changed to a new, even better winter boot I was going to review both boots together with my first pair of summer boots (similar to these but a different make). The summer boots were made in China and at first look seemed great, waterproof, very lightweight and a brilliant sole but man the sizing was no way near. I am a 10.5 but always get an size 11 as your feet swell when you are hiking 15 miles and I could not get my feet into them without a crush. I got in touch with the company and they sent me out a size 12 and they were still crushing my feet, so they went back too, so still not got a summer boot yet (not that we have had much of a summer this year). How are the all round fitting on these boots, given that you would be wearing thick socks as well? Cheers Alan

There actually a really comfy pair of boots Alan, I've been wearing them the last few weeks out hiking and camping, they fit well. Yeah it's been a pretty wet summer, but hey ho it's only rain. I"m fine, hope your well👍🏕👌

Hi. Do the boots run small? I ordered size 44 with an insole length of 282 +-2 cm. I usually take a 285+ mm insole length for mountains and wear a thick trekking sock. In the city I wear 42-42.5 and the insole length is 270mm. I don’t know how it will be when climbing and descending in the mountains, maybe I should have ordered 44.5....?

What do you think of these 7 months on pal? I was thinking of going for merrel or even something pricier like obos or garmont but these are temptingly affordable. I do a lot of walking though so i don't want to buy cheap and buy twice. Honestly im looking I'm looking fir a good pair of walkig boots/shoes around the 70 pound mark but i don't mind going a little past 100 if im guaranteed quality.

@@Colinrussellscottishwildcamper Karrimore Bodmin 4 walking boots are only 44 pounds on Amazon at the moment. Good reviews too. Have you ever had Karrimore before? I had a pair of regattas for around that price a few years ago and they didn't last long at all.

Water resistant?? Are kidding me?? After two weeks, I got my feet soaked under rain, five minutes only after wearing these shoes. They ate robust, but NOT water repelant!
