I just came across this video. Just to correct you a bit. 18:35 into the video you said that the North Cape is the northernmost point on mainland Europe. Technically, it is not quite correct since the Nordkapp plateau is located on an island called Magerøya. The northernmost point on the mainland Norway and Europe is called Kinnarodden and is located on the Nordkinn peninsula. I myself have been to Nordkapp 3 times. 2 times by motorbike, 1 time by car. Great trips all three and I'm going to do it again and the rest of the Finnmark county. Thank you for a great video and great commentary - and welcome back to Norway 🙂

Great video, a lot of footage there. You were lucky to get to the end of your journey in such good weather its not very good there most of the year. We also rode to the nordkapp in 2022 from Dorset ,England on a 500 Royal Enfield classic and a 400 Himalayan, idesl bikes for such a trip as the road speeds in the nordic countries are not high and as you correctly say the fines for speeding are hefty. We traveled up via sweden and Finland and came back via central sweden over 5 weeks. We took stills no video of our trip ,havent got the time to do all the editing etc so hats off to you for doing all that. In 2023 we repeated our trip but took the norwegian coast road to the Lofoten Islands instead. Also on the Enfields. You do not need big bikes for these countries as the scenery is fantastic you need to look round and take it all in not be watching the road all the time. Great trip we took 5 weeks. Keep riding keep producing great footage. It saves my doing it . Dave and Laura.

I am interested in the speed you are cruising at on good hard roads. I cannot tell from your videos and your bike is relatively small capacity. Have learned so much watching your vids - not just the touristy stuff, but all the other things that happen. Keep going and keep smiling but keep looking out for the bad guys- they are everywhere. what a terrible accident, it didn’t look good, we only can hope that they were ok. Norsk Luftambulanse (Norwegian air ambulance) is doing an amazing job. Norway is a long country with long distance between the hospitals. So fantastic to reach Nordkapp, I really can imagine you were proud and to reach your goal and fulfilled one of your dream’s. I cried now and then during my ride this summer. It’s some times so overwhelming to see all that beautiful nature and also to be back to Norway after three years of covid restrictions was a big thing for me. At the moment I realised that I passed over the border I get really moved,
