Norwegian Teacher - Karin

Күн бұрын

Dont hate on me, i know im not perfect :P i do my best!
The norwegian words used:
Du er søt, Snill, Perfekt, nydelig, Pen, Kjekk
Du ser bra ut
Jeg liker den kjolen
Jeg elsker øynene dine
Du smiler så pent
Takk, tusen takk. Hey all Norwegian learners!
The language I'm teaching is not Bokmål nor Nynorsk. It's an east dialect and I don't think you will have much problem with bokmål after this. :) And everyone will understand this.
I am Norwegian, from Norway. Born and raised. I live in Oslo, with my husband and son.
---------------------------------------
I started filming with my webcam. Then i moved on to a Flip, then a Flip Mino HD. Then followed my iPhone, and Now I have a Panasonic HC-V210 :)
I edit with Vegas Pro.
---------------------------------------
Extra info about some of the videos is found here:
karinawinnem.co...
- This is also my norwegian blog. To get everything in one place!

Thank you to all subscribers, you are too sweet :) seriously, i love you!

thank you very much for your videos! As I'm very much interested in foreign languages, I'm fond of your videos! It's funny when you said the sentence "du er kjekk", the "kjekk" sounds exactly as "gek" in Dutch and which means "crazy" :-p

I have an interest in the northern languages because I am Texan and nativley I speak English, which is kin to Deutsch and Norsk. Vikings and gaulles from Germanic speaking lands planted the seeds of our English language, so why not? I think its more or less of an American of Germanic descent getting back to his roots. My surname is Sherling, but originaly was Scherling, my folks dropped the c and Americanized it in the 19th century when they came here. ;)

Thanks :) Before I was in Oslo, I've learned Norwegian from some audio "tape" (they were mp3 files for real hehe). It was funny because there were exercises in it, the guy said in English that you should construct the given sentence in Norwegian, and almost all of those were somethign like: "Greet the young woman, and tell her that you want to drink a coffee with her at your flat" :) I have no idea what the purpose was of these lessons, maybe everybody want to get a girl in Norway? :D

Jeg elsker oynene dine. Why do you put -eyes- in front of -your- ?
@linusbjork623
@linusbjork623 6 жыл бұрын
Alexandra Andrei Well... when writing a noun phrase with a possessive form in Norwegian is kind of different. If you want to say “your eyes,” you might tempted to say “dine øyne” (“your eyes”) right? But the more correct form is to say “øynene dine,” which translates to “the eyes of yours.” Remember that the noun before the possessive form of the subject always has to be a definite form: øynene dine, smørbrødet mitt. I might be wrong, but that’s from experience just from Swedishing around and working with Norwegians. 😊😊
