There’s a Permatex silicone sealer especially resistant to gear oil; it’s grayish. When I’ve changed nosecones I’ve used the seal.

Very cool bro, and Ventura is one bad ass transmission builder, he build my first 1/4 mile trans 14 years ago and I have blown two motors racing but the trans held strong all these years, I just took it to him again to now make it more of a street and fwy trans, when it comes to transmissions I don’t go to anyone else but Ventura he knows his stuff.

What brand of nose cone is yours? Not too fond of the Erco bus nose cones as that is what came with my Rancho pro Street box

The one in my car one trans has the erco nose cone and the erco side covers the other trans has the nose cone I got it from SoCal imports so idk and my brothers transmission has the Mexico one all bud nosecones
