Nostalgia CFF-986 review. Video of how it is put together and how it runs. We were very pleased with this chocolate fountain and it was only about $50 from Amazon.

It's not already melted, it's just liquid chocolate. But half the point of a chocolate fountain is to coat something in chocolate that will harden into a chocolate layer. If you buy liquid chocolate all you have is liquid chocolate running down a fountain, it won't harden in room temperature like regular chocolate, that's why it's liquid when you buy it. Basic chemistry, it's not that hard to grasp, if you melt a chocolate and leave it in room temperature it's not going to stay melted ;)

Sorry for the unanswered posts. I have not checked this in a while. We still use this and it has continued to do great. Still very happy with the purchase.

My aunt has had a fountain for atleast 5 years now and she buys the bottle of ghiradelli chocolate. It is already melted and you just pour it intk the base od the fountain and TADA!!!!!! You buy the bottlr of chocolate at most stores like target and Wal-Mart.

What is it like to clean that thing? What happens when you accidentally knocked it over onto the sofa or the rug?
@lifewithtimmyd76414 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard, I can honestly say that has never happened. Maybe to someone else, but in the years of having this never happened. It is still going strong when needed for events so I still give this a thumbs up :)

Why use oil?
@flyinlo14744 жыл бұрын
Hi Kiki, you need to use oil to thin down the chocolate. If you do not use oil it is too thick. On a side note, I have lost alot of weight and have more to go. I read the book The Obesity Code. So now I would only use Olive Oil, not vegetable oil. Except for special occasions, I don't eat any processed foods and eat a Keto diet. For special occasions I will certainly "splurge" but then I am back on track. No food with added sugar, and no fake sugar of any kind. So you do need to add oil but I would highly recommend using virgin olive oil as it is very healthy.

Why did you suddenly stop the video after she said "turn it off please"? What really happened? 3 scoops of oil and 3/4 cups are totally different.

You add oil to the chocolate chips (2 12 oz. bags) and melt in MW.

Safia, once you have people in a room, the noise is not noticed. When you are by yourself, you will think it it noisy, but I can assure you that in a party setting, the noice is not noticed. That has been our experience.
