I am a foreigner who has lived in the Philippines for more than 2 years and i really love all the good things in the Philippines and the good Filipinos and i miss the Philippines so much and I consider it my real home and wish I could go back in time and never ever leave. 😥❤️

happy to hear your memories i love manila too my parents always brought us 3sis to mla twice a month fr iur elem days till our college days we always check in at avenue hotel at avenida i studied at ceu w my youngest sis n my ither sis at ust i love mla so many happy memories but m a bicolana all of my four sons are born in mla am now 67yrs old

I was born and raised in Pandacan, Manila in the 50s. Although I lived in a squatter area, my house was built with pallets and rusty metal thin roof sheets, I was very happy growing up in that neighborhood. Now that I am an old man, I always missed my childhood friends and my environment.

@@shellyfulgencio6389 same here. I was born 1951 in Vermont, Paco near Anak Bayan. Most of the houses then were covered with used corrugated sheets and thick wood planks recovered from war remains. I really missed my childhood days there.

I love the music you choose for this vlogs the pictures and places are before me, at 74 I have vivid memories of my grandparents pictures black and white, I remember the Philippine moneys not a lot but have value, same as the merchants that barter on the street look innocent but kind and honest, I use to bring two eggs every morning to the nearest store on the way to school trade it for candy white rabbits or pandesal, thank you po sa magandang alaala god bless, watching from Florida USA
