A fair thing to consider about Beelzemon and his connections to the SDL is that even loners see value in beings that they can call their allies. Also Beelzemon can be considered a Fallen Angel type of being. Meaning that in his base form he remains resentful of his loss of status and seeks power for the sake of himself, and in his blast form he accepts his failings and seeks power for the sake of those he cherishes. Just because a demon exists doesn't mean that they're innately evil. Just like how an angel isn't innately good.

Beelzemon is definitely one of my favorite Digimon. One idea I would like to give to why Beelzemon remains as a member of the 7DL, maybe its what the title entails, the fear it brings which would probably scare most Digimons away. Also what if he's keeping his seat so no one else takes it, so that someone possibly weaker but more malevolent doesn't become a DL, who would order the armies. In Digimon ReArise there was an event with Mephismon/Gulfmon where the story had Demon Lord Beelzemon protecting baby Digimon from Mephistmon who actually set up a trap for Beelzemon knowing he'd come. But even knowing it was a trap he went and saved the Digimon but resulted in Mephismon stealing his powers and reverting to Impmon. The event ended with Beelzemon Blast Mode, Royal Knight Dukemon Crimson Mode, and Rasenmon working together to defeat Gulfmon. In Digimon Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory there was also a mission there where you help Beelzemon get his claws on a Skull Meramon who was going around attacking weaker Digimon, and as a result for helping him he says to call him whenever you need help, which is during Post-Game in the Abyss Server map.

In my opinion, the reason why Beelzebumon does not abandon his title as a Great Demon Lord, is because he can't. There is a pact of non-aggression between the Great Demon Lord class and evil Digimon of similar power, such as GranDracmon, and if Beelzebumon abandons his post, he could be destitute of this "protection". Especially because even if he does leave, Beelzebumon would still retain the power of the Crest of Gluttony within himself, something that many evil Digimon greatly desire, just look at DarkKnightmon X, and would definitely be targeted by those Digimon wishing to gain that power, even Great Demon Lords like Lucemon and Barbamon might be interested.

Lol, nice intro. Those Blast/Burst mode are supposed to be stronger than the X forms of the Digimon. Hence why it's usually a temporary mode on the risk of burning out the user. Beelzemon is the one exception (that I know of) of that condition.

There does exist an interesting distinction in the TCG. Beelzemon always carries the 7 Great Demon Lords trait and can be triggered off of effects that search out or effect 7 Great Demon Lords. Blast Mode doesn't have this distinction and instead simply becomes a Demon Lord. A lower rung status given to strong but more solo digimon such as Malomyotismon, Murmuskumon, and Bagramon. I feel like this implies that Beelzemon Blast Mode leaves the 7 Great Demon Lords as a faction. Another thing to keep in mind is the angelic nature of Beelzemon's Xross Wars counterpart. In that version of events Reapmon/Baalmon exists as a keeper of knowledge and one shunned by the holy digimon... So it's important to keep in mind that Beelzemon as a digimon is definitely only truly a Great Demon Lord by ititle. There is one instance where Beelzemon is shown as loyal to the 7 Great Demon Lords and their leader... the X-Antibody war between the Great Demon Lords and the Royal Knights. In this series of short stories Lucemon calls on Beelzemon as its right hand to fight against the Royal Knights. If Blast Mode can be seen as the more righteous and redemptive version of Beelzemon... then Beelzemon X-Antibody can be seen as furthering down its path towards power. Beelzemon has always been a digimon that roams the Dark Area as a fighter, and loner... choosing not to fully ally itself with anyone. I believe it is only granted the title of Great Demon Lord due to its power.

I think Beelzemon is a very interesting Digimon and I guess the rest of the 7 demon Lords are completely evils while Beelzmon is a demon Lord form of an Antihero someone who can switch between good and Evil and I like to see a video explaining the differences between Beelzemon from tamers and Beelzemon from Fusion/Xheartwars.

Now, on another note, something that I have been thinking for some time now is why the recent digimon Pomumon one of my absolute favourites, described as a vegetation digimon, and the rest of its digivolutions, mainly Parasaurmon and Toropiamon belong ONLY to the wing guardians family! Why no nature spirits or dragon roar on the Parasaurmon, while its clearly a dinosaur type digimon, nor the Jungle Trooper genetic in them while they clearly demonstrate some plant like characteristics? And Im super curious of how that relates to what they inherited from the 10 legendary warriors, did they earn power from Ancientkazemon or AncientTroymon? Anywayd sorry for the little rant, just found this case very peculiar Cant wait for your next videos

I would like to see discussion on beelzemon from xros wars after watching this video.I saw Xros wars before tamers,so I don't have the knowledge of beelzemon being part of the 7 demon lords group beforehand.After watching this video,there seems to have similarities between the two beelzemon variants.In Xros Wars,Reapmon is badly injured,and was healed and reborn into beelzemon.Xros Wars beelzemon's appearance already gains the pair of wings and has the cannon on his right arm,and Xros Wars beelzemon very soon become an ally to the main heroes.Xros Wars Beelzemon attack move seems to always be Corona blaster and never use double impact.It would also fit the theme of renewal,but Xros Wars show isn't detailed enough as they still make Xros wars beelzemon eyes red instead of green despite that character doesn't have the anger and hate personality which base beelzemon had.But it is just Digimon multiverse.

Still, the mention of Venus reigning over relationships reminded me of the Arcana from Tarot cards, which I think is appropriate for something like this because there was a time that the Tarot was associated with the Devil and those who associated with him thanks to religious dogma and rhetoric. As some people are aware, each card in a tarot reading has a different meaning or interpretation based on whether it is right side up or upside down (upside down being referred to as the "Reverse" version of the card). When someone mentions the Tarot, most people's minds will jump to the Major Arcana, Cards like The Fool, the Star, The Devil, and the Strength cards; but the Minor Arcana are incredibly significant; each of the suits has associations with elemental forces and different kinds of mental/spiritual energies. The suits of the Minor Arcana are also often the older version of the modern suites and card structures of what is often referred to as a modern deck of cards. The classic Minor Arcana suites, and these the oldest known card suites, are Coins/Pentacles, Cups/Chalices, Wands/Staves, and Swords. The modern correlation goes like this Wands to Clubs, Cups to Hearts, Coins to Diamonds, and Swords to Spades; these changes were likely made due to political reasons driven by religious doctrine and motivation regarding pagan practices during the Medieval period or Enlightenment era of Europe. As I said above, each of the suits has different associations with elements and another aspect of life; these are paired, but probably not in ways most people would anticipate. Wands represent the element of Fire and Power, power as in the power that one can have over others, such as political or social power or some other power in some kind of dynamic; Cups represent the element of Water and Relationships, this is often interpreted as "romance," but many readings from the suit of cups just make reference to partnerships or friendships just as much as those more intimate relationships; Coins represent the element of Earth and Finances, such as warnings about investments or income for a business venture; and Swords represent the element of Air/Wind and Conflict, such as conflicts we have to overcome or physical altercations that will have notable reproductions later down the road. There have been times in the Digimon franchise where cards played a role of some kind, such as the cards that were the key to traveling between worlds in Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02, or Piedmon's recent appearance in Ghost Game where children were turned into modern playing cards; but to my recollection, Tarot cards have not really played a significant role in the franchise itself, or even been part of Digimon's aesthetic or move set, which I think is kind of a missed opportunity, given the special properties that are often associated with Tarot cards, a Digimon that has a compilation of all that data could prove interesting to see. A Digimon of that nature might exist somewhere in Witchenly; given the mystical nature Tarot cards often have associated with them, maybe they could be an entire evolutionary line, or series of evolutionary lines, based on Tarot cards. But to my understanding, there are currently no Digimon with an association or connection to Tarot cards.

While nowadays beeing seen as a Counterpart to Crimsonmode and often rater evil, in Tamer its more like a good Sidegrade to Beelzebumon. Like Megidramon was the evil Side of Dukemon, Blastmode was the good Side of Beelzebumon. He nearly died from a Perfect Class Agent of D-Reaper after all. His more good, or tempered Personality is proofen whit his Eyes turning into the more neutral Color green, compare to the original red.

Blast mode sort of resembles a fallen angel, doesn't he? and since the demon lords used to be holy digimon before being sent to the dark area with lucemon daemon and lilithmon being confirmed fallen angels, perhaps by going into blast mode it sort of tapped into it's angelic roots but still beig a demon lord by carrying the crest of gluttony and there for still a being of darkness. on side note i think why beelzemon is a part of the group is because it carries one of the crowns of the seven deadly sins and in the digimon savers game they are a requirement for a digimon to evolve into one of the demon lords, hell the hypothetical demon lords in your other video are supposed to match up with the crowns.

ShadowInTheMask really cane through here. His was quite a bit more helpful than mine. Oh Nostalgia remember my idea of making digimon based on how you perceive us? I have refined it a bit. The survey or questionnaire only contains questions such as what attributes would you have, which family/field would you be in, what digimon type do you associate the most with, any preferences in the form of digimon, and name the two signature attacks of your theoretic mega form. These parameters (which includes our user names by the way, for example the words Marine Soler) would then be imputed into an A.I. generation software in ordee to mimic the creation of digimon. The resulting images is then taken to an artist who then transforms those images into a complete digivolution line. People can send images and self describing poems over direct Message to help the you and the artist figure out the digivolution line and the story of the resulting character. Afterwards you post in on the community tab so that people can talk about it and then you finally make a video on it or a group of them depending on whether you are making a fan digi video, a digistory video, or something else. The caveat is that those that the digimon pertain to cannot comment on the digimon itself until the video comes out. For example I would not be allowed to comment on the digimon based on your perception of me and as a result any comment on the community post would be promptly ignored. So what do you think?
