Been away on vacation for a week riding bikes and enjoying warmer weather. slowly gettin back at the build again. Working towards getting the seats mounted but left off at the floors. Surely the floors must be next.

Good progress on the floor, as for the rear, we just fitted a lower repair section that goes the full width of the valance, pricey but the non heritage repair panels fit awful. You will of course save time fitting a rear half skin and then get the light conversion panel to weld in for the earlier lights

Thanks Karl🙏🏻👊🏻 Yea that also crossed my mind as well do to the light conversion.but i pulled the trigger and i already ordered a non heritage valance 🥴🤷🏼‍♂️. Hoping itll fit ok. I plan to add a second sheet of metal where the bumper would normally bolt to. I did this in my R1 mini and it added so much strength. I plan to mimic what i had done in that car. Love a bit of fabrication, better then the crap I’m having to do haha. I’m so hoping you can keep the bins. They aren’t structural just storage so you can just whip them off but it in a sin haha

Yea i sadly cut the bins like 3 weeks ago 😅🥲. I actually like it to be honest. Nice and roomy. But i will have to add structure back to the door for sure. And now theres definitely some room for side rollcage bars. 🤷🏼‍♂️ i would like to add mayb a cub holder towards the top of the doors. Mayb even a smaller tray for keys/change ect….

@@klegraefe cardinal sin that haha, but needs must I guess and some door bars are a much more needed structural essential then a door packet to keep your lip stick in 🤣

@@skidmores.garage the lip stick is nearly impossible to retrieve even with smaller hands🤣 never mind pennys and dimes. Surely this part of the car is HELL
