I've had a ton of rats. They don't like sleeping in cold or wet. They like sleeping piled up on each other or in places where they are surrounded by warm and snuggly.

This is actually a real story line for a book, called "Ratman's Notebooks" by Stephen Gilbert. It was also adapted into 2 movies, Willard and Ben. I rlly suggest the book, you can see the man's downward spiral as he becomes closer to the rats and how it leads to his downfall.

Rats actually like sleeping in hammocks. And in the sleeves of sweatshirts. And on shoulders (and really anywhere else on their human). And in jacket hoods. And inside clothes in the closet so you end up looking for them for hours. Basically anywhere up high, soft, warm, and dry. Also on other rats. They are quite relatable, though. They’re basically if impulsive thoughts came to life. What does this soap taste like? Answer: apparently delicious. What if I jumped off of this desk? The answer: yes.
