@@nergal2741 The first CS was made by fans why don't valve stick to half-life where they were good and let some professional coders work on counterstrike. Nobody asked for a new game we just wanted CSGO to be better. Then they were like we just updating this into a new game , then it was this is a new game and guess what the old game you wanted updated we are scrapping. They didn't listen they have bad communication skills.

The "terror hunt" game mode likely might come out in a wider push for CS2's new game mode coding stuff instead of an operation: we have seen the new coding system's proof of concept in the Arms Race game mode but we are yet to see it's wider integration into the community workshop. How about mini operations with game modes voted in by the community?

I'm pretty sure there wont be an operation before shanghai major as they want to re-introduce overpass with gameplay changes into the active duty pool. They would probably use this time to create a 2024 Overpass collection. I think danger zone and a new case will release together before shanghai major though

Honestly, I don't think this update is bad, we just expected it to be something else. At least this way it seems like they are still tackling issues the game has rather than spoon-feed us another way for them to make money. The operation would have distracted the community for a while, maybe, but that doesn't mean the problems would have just disappeared.

at this point , i'm going back to my first thought when all these "leaks" got out , that the 25th anniversary is like the 15th anniversary , it's not meaningful enough to make an update for , like not even sticker capsules worthy , and i'm not following the hype train anymore , brazilian player FER once said "i don't play this game to have fun" and that's what i'm feeling rn , i just play it because i'm a competitive person so i play cs to compete and be serious (casual serious tho i'm not chasing lvl 10 or fpl, i don't have the time to grind) and that's about it , this game will never be the same anymore , maybe i changed but i don't think so

Forget about the cash grab typa new features and a new Operation, we do actually need only one thing: A working goddamn Anti-Cheat. If they insist pushing a update that contains a Community made maps and a simple* UI(MVP) change, at least they could've activate OVERWATCH, fix the Trust Factor, and make ACTUAL changes on ranking system because it's literally unplayable at this point. I, myself as a 10 years of CS player, I quit CS and refuse to play until it's getting fixed

@@NexuroPL lots of mid range engagements is why I like it. You can encircle people as well which I like. I only play casual and this is a really good map for casual because it doesn’t turn into a clusterfuck.
