Most reviews I've seen say the brushless isn't worth the extra $, weighs more with less power but just slightly better run time

Just got that 6 tool kit today and noticed, different shoe, no hook, and no work light built in… I thought the work light was a standard part of any circular saw but I guess not.

thanks for watching. little details some ppl dont catch and then get stuck with a "so so" saw, even tho you think, you are buying top of the line dewalt brushless

Actually, the kit tool are inferior by default, usually. Mainly because it cost more money. A couple years ago, however DeWALT did have an brushless kit actually good. It was valued at $1400. But when it came out a lot of the technology knew, and they were trying to draw people to technology, hence why the $1,400 brushless kit was made.
