The plaintiff hired the defendant to take pictures at her wedding. However, the plaintiff says the photos were delivered two months late, and she wasn’t happy with the result, so she’s suing. The defendant claims she shot for 10 hours in three different locations, and she believes the plaintiff is just looking to get free pictures.

I'm so glad I don't have whatever it is that makes people want to spend copious amounts of money on weddings and all the stuff that goes with it. When 50% of them WILL fail. And, it seems like you spend all that money to stress about this big day, but it's really for the enjoyment of other people. I got married for like $250. Both of our rings were $100 combined. Court fees were like $35. Rest was on misc stuff. The amount of money you spend doesn't equate to the amount of love you have for someone.

It's really these people's own faults for choosing to spend such obscene amounts of money on a wedding event. The average cost of a wedding event in America is like $50,000, and what on Earth justifies a wedding event being that expensive, these folks and like you accurately said mostly the brides want their weddings to be so elaborate that it leads to the event being insanely expensive. It is possible to have a wedding event for $1000, if you need to rent a venue there's rec centers, church buildings, etc, those are low cost, have a small number of family and close friends from each side, some food and beverages, and a photographer, and that's it. Go to city hall, and hire a justice of the peace, and then a simple reception after that. Photography services are the only that does make sense to spend significant money on because of course you will want good photos to remember the event by, and pass that on to children, and grand children, but catering services, and wedding planning services, and all the rest of that is unnecessary.

I wouldn’t work for a bride if I had no other options, I turn to pan handling. Almost every bride that I’ve ever know of ruins her own “special” day complaining about everything! Most come up with the most outrageous and over the top wedding themes, spend more money than most even have, because they are such narcissists. Half the time the reception lasts longer than the marriage and if I were these photographers, wedding planners, caterers, venue people etc. I would have my lawyer create such an iron clad contract and make the bride and groom sign a final document claiming to be 100% thrilled with everything, because that is the moment they are still trying to impress all of the people at their wedding so much that they would sign, and then let them just take you to court and lose when they start regretting how much they spent.

Are you kidding? This is nowhere near the first case that a husband (or wife) has not shown up for. Some people can’t get time off from work, or they stay home to take care of the kids. Some people trust their spouse to handle the case alone. Some people would probably rather die than appear on TV! And of course there are times when the spouse stays home because they don’t agree with the one who is suing someone. Or maybe they agree but can’t deal with the anxiety.

I can't say your comment is off the mark really because in Kenya for example, the most a wedding event costs is $2000, and that's if it's a traditional tribal wedding like a traditional Luo or Kisi wedding for example, even the rich in that country don't consider spending $50,000 on a wedding event, and $50,000 is the AVERAGE cost of a wedding in America. So yes I agree with you, I would count this as a First World Problem, this is a trivial matter. My suspicion with this plaintiff, her and the husband realized they went over budget on the wedding event, and she's trying to recoup some of the costs.

Usually if you are going to sue over a contract, there has to be a *material* breach. When they say "approximately 90s days" and it ends up being 2 weeks later, but you still get everything that you paid for, there's no way you are going to win a lawsuit unless you can show that time was of the essence and you suffered some great harm. Cases where people wait YEARS to get wedding pictures...And the judge thinks that's the standard 🤦🏾‍♀️. The defendant sick from February to April with the common flu... That's unreasonable. The plaintiff was asking for more than what was necessary out of frustration, yet the defendant taking an additional month was unreasonable too. When I saw them I knew Milian wouldn't be fair & hold them accountable for anything. When people pay their money, they want the product in a timely fashion. The defendant took longer than the additional 2 weeks AND had an attitude & this entitlement about it. Had the tables been turned and the plaintiff was the defendant, then the standards would've changed & Milian would've told her business is business & sick or not they shouldn't be penalized for your personal issues & some other BS, but she has all the understanding in the world for the defendants giving them preferential treatment. You can't expect justice from these biased judges. They stay on code. When judge Faith was on, then that's who you'd go to for someone fair.

The plaintiff is one of those embarrassing people who trying to get discounts or short change you. The defendant looks dirty it’s not way I would’ve let her take pics of my wedding looking the way she do. I would’ve known some Bs Is about to come with that.

When the defendant said “I worked 10mins I need to eat too” everyone that goes to work bring their own food and does not dare to tell an employer “you need to give me food” bring your own food smh

10 hours on your feet with a heavy camera around your neck...Um, that's your job you signed up for 🙄. Stop giving these types of people your business who act like they're doing you a favor when they've been PAID to do a job. I seriously doubt they're that unprofessional, combative, and just nasty to all their customers lacking customer service skills - they just reserve that BS for certain clients... Stop giving them your business.

First of all, if I have to wait as long as the plaintiff, I am not going back to ask for anything from the defendant, so what's that going to be another 90 days???? Well, photographers are not miracle workers!!! Defendant you didn't just ask for two weeks you got 4 weeks!! And honestly I just wonder how judge Milan has stayed married???? She ca be harsh, and aggressive sometimes!!
