Not Happy with PSA: MJ Submission Reveal

This MJ Submission reveal has me really unhappy with PSA right now. I know that you don't always get the grades you want, but when you see things on your cards that you did not see when you submitted, you have to wonder. That's why I will never buy or grade with PSA ever again. Every time I have used them, they have ripped me off. CGC is the best, in my opinion. Best slabs, no upcharges, no completely unfathomable grades, no surprises.

The rookie PSA graders have never seen 90s cards before. They dont know what they are looking for. How does a centered sharp modern card get a 6 without obvious creases? Ridiculous

Just got my 1st PSA order in over 20 yrs… 50 MJs Only one 10 All others all over the place! Unreal… cmon PSA.. a few 8s, looked better than the 10 I got also! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Look up videos on grading Jordan’s and Kobe’s. There are a TON of theories right now on pop control on Jordan and Kobe’s coming out of PSA

just look across the internet at all the horror stories coming out of psa in recent months. its an absolute chit show over there. i carry a 53% gem 10 rate with psa over about 1,000 cards. the last 125 cards i sent in spread out over 4 orders, i got a total of 3 10's out of a 125 cards. and i got several 5's and 6's, lol i dont think i have ever had anything below a 7. now i send a mix of vintage and modern. when i say vintage i mean stuff form the 80s. i have never sent in anything older then the 80s. needless to say i have not graded with psa since and will not deal with them anymore. i feel like cgc has a real chance ot step up and take a good market share if they really push it. people are looking for someone else with psa's recent bullchit.

I have graded over 2,000 cards the last three years and for modern and was accustomed to at least 30-40% gem rate. The last two months have been all over the place even getting 6's and 7's. I know they are grading more from their New Jersey location so not sure if they are using newer graders or is it only AI on the modern and ultra modern. I am sending identical cards and getting 10's and 6's...getting 9's is acceptable on these pack-pulled and cards taken from unopened sets

The ultra step it up aint an insert mate its a Sub Set card.

Sorry man. I just thought where it was still a subset that you will have a much less chance of getting one in a pack than the regular base cards. It felt like an insert to me since it was different from the original base, like a parallel of sorts.

Same problem recently graded over 130 mj cards and it looks like someone spun a wheel with my grades got 6's on perfectly mint cards made no sense

I usually get a decent amount of 10s from PSA but with this shipment, I believe I honestly did waste it.

@@certifiedvintagetreasures7653 Thanks. I guess it happens to everyone sometimes. Maybe we just hope for those high grades so much that we set ourselves up for disappointment. I’ll still grade with PSA. I was just a little taken back I guess.
