@@Traveler1328 Once his father was murdered, and he came back the other 2 times because he loved the competition. Your argument holds no value. Him coming out of retirement over and over again shows that he loved the game so much that he kept coming back. Lebron just wants to get people fired and cry every time he doesn’t have the “help” he needs when Jordan retired in 1998 (after 2 3 peats) because he was loyal to Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen. Jordan stated he would’ve never retired in 1998 if they hadn’t broken the team up. Do your homework and take it from someone who saw it all happen. If you had been there and seen the last 50 years of basketball, you would know the truth.

He dominated in high school becoming a McDonald’s all American, then dominated in college as an NCAA champ and Basketball Player of the Year, then dominated in the 1984 Olympics with a gold medal, dominated in the NBA with 6 titles, 5 MVPs, etc, So I have to ask, what other levels are there because high school, college, pro, and international are all there is.

@@afa1216 I’m not stuck in the past. I’ve just lived long enough to witness both sides from the beginning to the end and made a judgement based on all that I saw through MJs career and Lebron’s. You see it differently and that’s fine but I have to go with what impacted me the most. They’re both great and they’ll never be two other players ever that will have done so much in their careers that this type of debate can go on for so long. I do appreciate both but MJ is my goat.

People would move on should the quality of basketball was up or above to the standard established by players like MJ. The harsh reality is the NBA quality drastically downgraded because the league was willing to sacrifice the fundamentals for entertainment. The fact that South Soudan nearly beat USA who got bailed out by the referees from obvious offensive foul committed by Lebron speaks volumes about NBA themselves.

@@eamorrison859 it’s not a feeling. I’ve been around this sport for over 42 years and I saw how MJ played the game and how he changed it. Only in today’s world can people call a man who has lost more than he has won the goat. Lebron has lost more then won and you put more value on quantity than quality and actually see playing longer and winning less as better then playing less and winning more. Sure hope you didn’t have that backwards when you were in school cause it’s not the students who are around the longest with the most points that pass. It’s the ones with the better averages per class.

Recently Angel Reese was trying to extend her double double record, and as a result the game plan was not focused on winning the game for the team, Russell Westbrook and Lebron James also believe in stat padding so that they could have individual accolades. It is obvious that they care more about themselves than they do about the total team success.

Okay. I agree with you. Let me expand a little on those "stats" that LeBron (and of course, his fanboys) love so much. There are five main stat categories: Blocks Rebounds Assists Scoring (points) Steals So, in LeBron's entire career there has been a possibility of him leading in 105 stats at the end of each season. How many has he led in? Two!! That's right, LeBron has led in 2/105. And this from a guy who is always padding his stats. Remember that t-shirt LeBron wore that said "Check My Stats"? Maybe he ought to rethink wearing it again. Everybody know that it doesn't matter how many points, or assists, or rebounds etc. one has at the end of their career. A much more important measure is the per game or even season ending stats.

It also translates into, its just a job! As you can see he takes games off because he doesn't want to play. He flops and whines! He is a plain up traitor! How many teams has he been on? You're right that the GOAT conversation is over, MJ holds the most records and LeBron is certainly far from it. Michael Jordan has a 10-1 lead in Scoring Titles vs. LeBron. MJ has the highest points per game in the Regular Season, Playoffs & Finals. The biggest competition is Bird, Kobe & Magic. LeBron is not the GOAT and the conversation is over!

LeBron started in 20 straign all-star games. LeBron scored nearly 10,000 more points than Jordan. As far as I am concerned it is over, LeBron is the GOAT! Jordan didn't even shoot 50% for his career, you can't be the GOAT when you missed more shots than you made.

@@user-ju1rv5pc3h LeBron played great in the finals, in fact he led his team back from a 3 to 1 deficit against the 73 win Warriors in 2016 to win the championship. The Warriors were a much better team than the Cavs, particularly once they got KD. The Bulls had great teams, they were not just about Jordan, if you put LeBron on either of those Bulls teams then he wins 8 straight championships. People always make the mistake of attributing championships to one individual player, but they conviently forget that when talking about Bill Russell who won 8 straight championships and 11 in 13 years. Championships are about the best team, not the best player.
