I agree with you that it is well nigh impossible to be a defender of all faiths, especially as Charles III took an oath to preserve the Protestant faith in the first few moments of the coronation service! Defender of all faith and defender of the Protestant faith, are irreconcilable statements in that context. Perhaps the new king does have spiritual ideas but he is beholden by that oath that he took to ensure Protestantism takes precedence.

I’m sorry, but I don’t agree. I don’t think the coronation was a joyous occasion. I think it was a shameful occasion. Charles brought his mistress into the palace. Instead of doing the right thing, and recognizing that he was guilty of adultery, he compounded his sin by making Camilla the new queen consort. Also, I think Charles is a very greedy, self-centered person, because he doesn’t have that long to live, and he made the country go through a very expensive coronation when probably in a few more years, they’ll have to turn around and have to spend a lot of money for a state funeral. Charles should’ve done the decent thing and abdicated the throne to his son, William.

Hopefully King Charles beleives in freedom and the free will of man enough to fight for it
