I stg as someone with an ostomy as well and have had 6 surgeries and my abdomen reconstructed please stop tempting fate. I was already concerned you’ll give yourself a hernia before you were even pregnant doing these heavy lifting things with breaking the ice. But this is WAY too soon to lift ANYTHING that heavy. Please stop and give yourself way more time. You’ll not suppose to lift anything at all until 12 weeks post partum/post op. Parastomal hernias are no joke and require special surgery to repair.

you can drain it by removing the circular white lid inside and outside the freezer near the control panel

chest freezers like yours have a drain at the middle bottom on the outside, you just have to pull it.

I really admire you but I worry so much about you using a chest freezer as here in the UK we’ve had lot’s of accidents where inquisitive children have got in the freezer and the lid has closed. You can’t open it from inside 😢and every time I see you get into it with your children around you I worry. Congratulations on your new baby and I’m just a concerned parent and grandmother who knows my grandson for sure would try to copy his Mum 🙏❤️

You don't have to life the freezer there is ha hole in front bottom of the freezer just remove the cap of the hole and you can clean it easily
