I kinda like the idea of not being forced to buy fans with a case, I rarely use the same case fans anyway so they can go to waste.

Same. I actually have an excess of case fans which I'd prefer to re-use rather than bin the cheapo ones that come with a case.

I agree, however, the fans that newegg said came with this case are very nice and expensive fans. Regardless if I was going to use them, not getting them is a deal breaker.

@@ElevatedSystems as someone who used Corsair fans before it’s better without them. Anything iCUE rgb related is overpriced and proprietary

Yes, and I REALLY wish they'd sell AIO liquid coolers without the fans because I've always just replaced the fans that come with them to match my case fans

The included fans along with the hubs and grills being preinstalled and routed to just need plugged in was super helpful, and keeping the front IO on the bottom just makes so much more sense for a pc meant to sit on your desk

I never in my past 10 years of building PCs have came across your channel, even when I KZfaq search cases for my builds. I can THOROUGHLY say I enjoy your videos - you are incredibly detail oriented when it comes to the case specifications and what they can or cannot accomplish, regardless of what the brand spec sheet “says”. I’ve watched a couple of your case reviews and man, keep doing your thing! You are AWESOME

Love this review! I have been watching all the Corsair 2000D reviews and love that this has the exact CPU/GPU combo I have! Also love seeing normal size 25mm fans fitting in the front. I know there is a tight fit around the motherboard but I've been dreading the RGB version with icue and the wiring mess. Might just try this case out with the RGB fans I already own. I'm between the HYTE revolt 3 and this case because it will be going in a TV stand so it will be laid on its side.

Outstanding review!...I also find it a bit odd, that Corsair is not forth coming with a included tech diagrams, as you said with the "hidden features"...all in all, this is my case of choice for a system I am about to build for my wife, with emphasis on small form factor with adequate cooling for an i9 790 mb (MSI)...thank-you for the assist in solidifying this decision!...jo'c

If I’m going to be buying a case this size, it’ll have matx support… This thing is huge. I bought a Jonsbo C6 after your last case review as it just looked like such a nice little case. That build is already sold, but I’m so tempted to buy another. At under $25 where I live, it’s a great smaller PC option.

I spent this weekend moving my main PC in to the new Fractal Terra ITX case. I would say it's not a good value, given the price and that it does not come with any fans, but I really like the way it looks. I have the jade green variant and it looks really nice with the wood accents and it was really easy to build in. Though its pretty much limited to air cooling only, don't know that it would be possible to fit even a 120mm AOI inside.

I'm more into the Lian-Li/Dan A4-H2O. More challenging to build and cable manage, yes, but it more compact and looks better built. The NZXT H1 V2 is a good choice, specially since you can attach it under your desk for a clutter-free desktop.

I'm worried about the width, any chance this could fit any of the RTX 4090s? Since most of those cards are slated at 70mm (3.5 slots)

what specific sleeved cables did you go with? it was a hassle trying to stuff the regular PSU cables in there. i am going to swap my AIO fans out with slim ones, and was curious what cables you are using, because it looks pretty good how you have them routed

I like this case. I've built several SFF PCs over the years and this one looks like it would have been a joy to work in. Re Newegg: They were my go to retailer for computer parts since the mid-2000s, but recently I've seen a decline in the quality of their offerings so I'm doing my shopping at other online sites.

Do you know what the maximum supported fan thickness is on the 2000d? I was thinking of building in it and using Lian-Li AL120 V2 fans but they're 27mm thick and I'm worried they won't fit in the front of the case.

Stupid question but if I have a regular power supply and don't want to get an SFX power supply, could I just fit the wires through the case and have the PSU external?

Uhm yea you probably could but not Ideal. If the PSU gets hot than that will be bad for your desk and it will allow lots of dust etc to get in

I ordered this case from origin pc as a pre build. But it’s set up is different from the video. My mother board sits at the top and the psu sits at the bottom There is no cut out at the bottom. Also I have a exhuast fan at the top

Very nice Review, £109 without the 3 ARGB slim fans or £149 with them/lighting node, To buy the 3 slim ARGB fans in UK on there own £85

@@ElevatedSystems I guess both the upper 120mm front intake fans aren't the problem here, it's the lower one. It heavily depends on the Motherboard Heatsink design whether or not the lowest of the 3 front intake fans can be a 25mm fan, am i guessing this right?

NZXT H1 v2 is on sale for $199 which I think is a better deal than the $199 RGB version of this case.

Is there a reason why vertical cases like these always have the gpu and mobo I/O on the bottom? Why can't they just design it in opposite orientation so they're still easily accessible from the top?

The problem is that this is quite a large case and yet only fits 3 slot GPUs. This is VERY limiting for the newest gen of higher end GPUs. It's just as limited as something way smaller like the Dan A4 H2O case, that also fits 3 slot cards.

NZXT H1 v2 is consistently dropping to $199 on periodic sales. If you can get it at that price point, it simply kills any other SFF offers, including a 750W SFX PSU and 140mm AIO. Loving that case.

i saw the origin pc 200d its 10 times superiour to this one i sent mine back too amazon its poor for its size excluding the top exhaust from the consumer version was outright stupid it hugely hampers FE gpus

I think you need to recheck the specs, according to the product page it only supports GPUs up to 320mm and for a case that is 458mm tall that is just bad design.

The specs according to corsair, not newegg, is 365mm, which is what I confirmed. The GPU I have in it is 335mm and there is over 30mm of space left.

People on a budget aren't buying name brand cases or fans. Sure false advertisement on their part but I can promise you once again, nobody on a budget was going to buy this to being with. You get a $50 case, $20 bucks on fans, and you have left over money for storage.

It’s actually the most useless case… gpu height and length is still limited for a case this size. The Dan C4-SFX and the new Coolermaster Ncore 100 Max are smaller and can fit more per size.

@@savageflamingoful but it’s accommodating a 3 slot gpu only, most cards are 3.5 or 3.75 for the 4000 series. The length is good but your still limited. Should of addressed both with such a large case. Not that smart….

I think the main purpose of this case is 360mm watercooling x) 24liters is no more a SFF build, this is too big.

@@MartinGibault exactly, it is too big. I can appreciate the water cooling but most would want to build a high end system in it and this is limited compared to what’s coming. Dan c4-sfx and coolermaster ncore 100 max looks amazing, and remains compact.
