You should try drawing everything backwards, like first do the color, then line art, then pencil..idk it just sounds like a fun and challenging idea.

Yes!! I was yelling at my screen the whole time for her to add the blue 😩 it really made the thumbnail pop. Her finished picture was cute too but it was much blander without the blue.

I think because she didnt dilute the purple for her skin that it would pull too much focus, but I agree and would have loved to see coloring closer to the thumbnail!

I have a tip!!! when watercoloring with anything either if it’s tubes, cubes, pallet or pens using a plate as a mixing pallet is much better than using watercolor paper because though it is intended for watercoloring it does absorb a bit of the ink so it goes to waste while when you’re using a plate the surface doesn’t absorb any of the ink usually, you can also use plastic lids for that.

In my country, caran d'ache is "high end" school/art material. It's a really good brand and the coloring pencils can be used as watercolor

OMG You know Rise of the Guardians! I don't know a lot of people who know that movie! It's so underrated! My favorite version of the childhood characters by far lol.

I spent the first part of the video thinking the pencil would be water soluble because my main experience with Caran'dache is the water soluble drawing pencils XD It's a fun media to do more detailed drawings with if you ever get the chance! :) Thanks for the fun, chill and positive energy in your videos! I loved this month's Scrawlrbox! I actually used the Spectrum Noir Aquatint pen to blend the other colours for my piece and it works so well with the Karin Brush Marker Pros. I got the same colour and honestly it mixed so well with the Lilac 😊

Honestly, really enjoying how positive you are when you notice you could have improved bits but acknowledge you are learning. Its a really healthy mindset especially if you have young followers. Good work. ((Personally I love the final result XD)
