Seeing what kind of things woodworkers put on their lathes and spin up, it's a bloody miracle that craft hasn't died out yet.

The third one has to be my favourite. Not only is it a gorgeous model of spacetime curvature, it’s also a functional table while simultaneously allowing for demonstrations of how orbits are affected by the curvature.

I like the first one. The way the lines go down into the hole is intriguing. But of course, to work as a functional table, it'd have to have a glass top like table #3. All three are stunningly beautiful!

That's a really cool piece! I think I like the 3rd one best, functionality and fun all in one. While watching the solid glue-up, I wondered if it might have been a little easier with concentric rings glued together, but might not have had the same stretching effect the closer you got to the well. Always entertaining to see the amazing work you do. Thanks for sharing this with us.

The first one is just a game. A big one in the middle of the room. Still a beautiful piece but impactable. The second one the maple seems to be too bright. Takes away from your base colors. It would look great in the right decor but only in the right decor. The third one with the glass. Perfect! You get the benefit of a table where you need one and a unique twist for your guests to entertain themselves. You do fantastic work and do great videos even if a person has a hard time getting a word in edgewise with you. 🤣🤣🤣

Hi 👋, Olivier , another one of your master creations, Event Horizon, you need to be very very careful, 😂, as one day you will open up your door to your work shop and everything will be dragged into these tables as they collide together, and disappear, and all you have is avoid in your workshop, 😂, have you lost your marbles?, 😂, definitely, the third one is better., you could make one where it is a game, that you spend your marble around the table, Top, eventually it goes into the black hole, and then you could have a series of holes around the bottom, and you could place your bet on which one it was going to come out of, That will be confusing, keep up the amazing work, stay safe😂, Phil from the moulin,
