I find Rose perfumes are always my most complimented. People love the smell of rose. I have a large Rose collection so I'll mention a few that others haven't - Fille de Berlin Serge Lutens, Neon Rose by Floral Street, Florabotanica and Paul Smith Roses.

It’s my name so I’ve tried probably 40+ rose fragrances. I love the Nest Turkish rose perfume oil (my roll on lasts AGES) Nina Ricci Rose Exstase L’Absolu and Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir Rose. However, the rose to end all rose…the rose that I would give up my entire perfume collection for…is Dyptique Eau Rose Eau De Parfum (NOT the edt). It’s the most beautiful rose perfume I have ever smelled.

Thank you for doing this video! There is a reason Roses are called The Queen of Flowers... because it is. When I was 14-15 and started wearing fragrances, I started with Rose! There were these body sprays (all the way back in the mid 90's) that featured rose- I loved them! So, since I was a baby wearing those ..I never associated that scent with 'old ladies' - in fact, for me, roses bring me back to my youth! Today- I am 42 and besides Jasmine, Rose still reigns supreme for me! Some of my absolute favorites are: Portrait of a Lady, Roses Greedy, Sweet Diamond, Delina Exclusiv, Click Song, Velvet Gold and Elixir 11...❤

It amazes me, greatly, to listen to "grandma's" references, I will live it as that😂. My vintage since 1983 is Paris EDT & EDP from YSL. I enjoy the rose in Flamenco and Hazy Rose from Ramon Monegal. Radical Rose from Matiere Premiere. I do enjoy Manceras and Montale roses. Yes, I love Oud Bouquet from Maison Lancôme.

Love all my multifaceted rose fragrance collection, they can be spicy, sweet/jammy, fruity. I’m just a rose lover though and through. There are some underrated rose scents out there like YSL Blouse, Ormond Jayne Damask, Floraiku Just a Rose, Christian Louboutin Loubidoo, Carolina Herrera Burning Rose and so many more, that are really beautiful. I was also surprised how many compliments I got when I wore Wednesday, I was a little scared to wear at first. 😆

The Chloe Sevigny Little Flower is one of my favorite fragrances for spring/summer - a very fresh, green rose. I love it! I also LOVE Ormonde Jayne Ta’if. The pink peppercorn makes it modern, in my opinion.

Amazing video Chris! I love this top on you! Asymmetric is my thing! Gosh I’ve heard about Cairo for ages but I had never had much interest in it, until hearing you describe it! 😍 I don’t think I even knew it was a rose centric scent.. now I have to sample!! ❤ I almost got the Ella K discovery set but it was sold out..That was awhile back though - I must check on it again! 😃 I was so excited to see if you and I had any of the same picks for rose and then you mentioned Sweet Diamond! I hit the button for Swiss Arabian Rose 101 and Silky Rose! Then went to Whole Foods and saw the entire Pacifica line on sale for $11 a bottle. I blind bought 3 bottles of Persian Rose and I am literally gobsmacked at its scent. It’s absolutely intoxicating for those who are adventurous. I had an excellent day! Also, I am definitely interested in Cupcake Wednesday.

Wait what??!! How can you outlaw perfumes in public spaces!!?? A content creator here I know is a nurse in California and she wears perfumes everyday to work. Seriously, CA is an utter mess. With all of the problems there…they focus on outlawing perfumes in libraries where homelessness , open drug use on the streets and crime are out of control?! 🤦‍♀️

Love roses, loved this video. I can't agree with you more about the Ella K. It was a splurge, but so worth it because I wear it. Syrupy, sweet roses are my jam but I don't like leather and the oud has to be a good accord before I can tolerate (Oud Bouquet and Oud Satin Mood are two others I wear). Thanks for the roses, not everyone gets the beauty.

Great topic. Rose is a polarizing flower for sure. Like you, I love it. I recently purchased Dusita’s rhapsodie noire ans to my nose I get a creamy, lactonic, but also green rose. I love it. Craziest part, absolutely no rose listed! 😂. I love it and makes me feel elegant yet effortless. That girl that has if together and makes it look easy.

I was not a fan of rose until 2019, I’m surprised at how many I have accumulated since then😲😲. Lettre de Puskhar was love at first sniff for me, I will be receiving mine next week🌹🌷. Yes to SDPP and Delina/ The Exclusif, my other favourites are Empyrean from Tomavicci, my SOTD and Musc Noir Rose🌷🌹. Atomic Rose was way nuclear for me🤯🤯. I’ll look for Silky Rose for next S&S🤔🤔. I'm also over rose/oud and rose/patchouli (at least for now 😄). Rose is so versatile and there are so many wonderful fragrances out there that contain it. I love Rose de Mai by Perris Monte Carlo and Rose D'Amalfi by Tom Ford, and also the Regime des Fleurs fragrance you mentioned. Great video and a few for me to try out!

My faves: Musicology The Rose (jammy, sweet rose), Solstice Scents Rose Mallow Cream (jammy, fluffy, sweet rose), Pearlescent Aquarose (dewy, fresh, salty rose), City Rhythm Sultry (fruity Rose), Une Nuit Nomade Jardins De Misfah (fruity rose), Dries Van Noten Soie Malaquais (fresh yet gourmand rose), CJ Scents Fluff Scent Bar + Red Rose (A STUNNER!! Similar to Rose Mallow Cream and Musicology The Rose but more marshmallow heavy), CJ Scents Rose Vineyard (very fruity rose), CJ Scents Darkness (Patchouli rose) and CJ Scents Dirty Rose (Patchouli rose). Oooh the Ella K - their new one, Orchid (turquoise bottle) is SO good! It’s like Bianco Latte,s baby sister but less peppery opening and thinner. I doused myself in it yesterday and can still smell it on my clothes. Releasing in May.

I have loved roses since I was a little girl, this is a favorite. ❤️ I have a few rose fragrances and I love to smell the bottle but I rarely wear them. They make me a little sad because I associate them with a very sad event. That being said, some of these sound fantastic!

Rose has always been a love for me! I adore all types, even the more vintage ones suit me! Of course the Delinas are magical and I absolutely adore Atomic Rose. One of my most worn & surprisingly quite nuclear imo espicially to be an edt is Rose Olivier by Bastide. I love it!!

I blind bought Peregrina and didn’t love it though I really wanted to because everyone seemed to. Lettre de Pushkar is very resembling of Peregrina, but however they are different, I love LOVE Lettre de Pushkar!

This is magical, I'm in a rose phase and you just dropped a video on rose 😍 and Atomic Rose is one of the best, my husband complimented me all day on this and he never does, he is like yeah, you smell good whatever if I ask him, but on Atomic Rose he was like, what is that? Thanks for this video Chris! I look forward to your videos because your reviews are just on point. I did open my Kayalis just last week after storing them in my drawer for over a year to have a new rotation of my rose perfumes letting Dior Absolutely Blooming and Lancôme Idole range give me a break. I love my Vanilla 28 and De Ja Vu but unfortunately Diamond Pink Pepper just does not work well with my skin or clothes. It gives out a sour pickle smell. Even with layering it with other fragrances the sourness comes through. Anyhow, thanks for your highly informative video. Your contents are greatly appreciated.

I really wanted to like Little Flower. I love the start..dewy rose, green and a citrusy rose with some tea. In the dry down I get a plastic smell mixed with rose. If I remember correctly, it reminded me of Diptique one which gave me a synthetic plastic rose smell. One simple rose that I enjoy is Red Roses by Jo Malone

Yay Happy Weekend Chris! Wow, this couldn't be better timing because it's getting on towards Spring here in NC, and I took a little break from my cozy winter scents to wear some freshies, and I've been falling back in love with Femme Individuelle for the last couple of days. I am on the hunt now for rose or peony scents with salty and marine notes, so the rose isn't so prominent. Would love to know if you have any recommendations. So far I only found Rose America from Une Nuit Nomade and Salt Rose from 4160 Tuesdays. 🧂💦🌹

After watching this, I immediately ran and sprayed my sample of sweet diamond! I hated it before but I don’t hate it anymore… I think I’ve entered my rose era. But still - there’s something sharp and metallic about it that I just can’t get on board with! I have a feeling it’s the musk. It’s the same reason why I can’t wear a single Mancera or Montale.. their musk is also very metallic! :( shame… wish it worked for me.

Fragrance newbie AND a cheapskate. I didn’t think I liked rose perfume until I purchased Lattafa’s Sakeena. It is an extremely sweet rose perfume. I like sweet, so I like it. It lasts all day on me. (Many people think it’s too sweet, so stay away if you don’t like gourmand scents.) The other rose perfume I like is Lattafa’s Bade’e Al Oud Sublime. It’s another gourmand scent. The rose here is also sweet, but not as sweet as Sakeena. Sakeena seems like a great scent to wear in fall and winter, while Bade’e Al Oud Sublime would be best for spring and summer.

Sorry to say this about rose perfumes from my mom’s era…. They reminded me of scented toilet paper. Yikes! That sounds bad. For that reason as soon as I saw rose as an ingredient I’d stay away. So I am glad that you are right rose perfumes have changed. ☀️Wild Poppy is my happy scent. It’s fun for sure. People tend to hug me a little longer when greeting with a hug. Get lots of compliments. I hope every one could sample on skin.
