So, just to point out. Sun wu Kong in myth is super OP. Like the literal 2nd strongest. Right below the heavenly Buddha. He has gained 7 different forms of immortality and has fought the entire army of the heavens until the heavenly Buddha had to step in. After which he was sealed for 300 years and then he goes on the journey to the west story

sean is really dedicated to the role of goku, in a way that he's sort of got this idea that he knows everything about him, and will question translations of they dont seem right for the character. and that makes sense, but it struck me as borderline obsessive and authoritative. So its kinda surprising to me how he was able to take the same voice and come off as an entirely different person. Sun Wukong in this story is far different from Goku, but Sean seems to have had zero trouble adjusting, he isnt just a good actor because he got lucky enough to play goku, he has genuine, honed skill. its impressive.

Using Goku's voice is amazing for Wukong

I can hear the Goku in this Wukongs voice, Once you watch dragon ball Sean's voice just automatically registers as Goku. It's kinda funny that Wukong in this series is Goku's personality and a bit of Vegeta's Pure Unadulterated Badassery.
