Discord is Making My (Pathetic) Life Easier!

Being a Discord mod is some tough work! Having to monitor my precious Discord server and make sure all my members enjoy their safety from trolls.
And now Discord has made things a lot easier for me with some of their in-development Beta features. The member tab, used to monitor every creature that enters my server and see if they are spamming DMs. The community activity alerts that allow me to be notified when my empire (discord server) is at risk of siege (discord server raid). Security actions allow me to impose communication and travel restrictions. Oh god this metaphor is falling apart. Basically all these features help with raids and moderation. The last two features though, they help with Discord bans and make life not painful.

Like I said, Discord patched the /member-safety URL thing. Was fun while it lasted! As it stands now, seeing if someone is timed out does not require any permissions (visible through API). However I have a gut feeling that in the future this may change due to a Discord staff member saying: "Just to clarify, if you can see Members tab, you should be able to see the Unusual DM Activity flag. To see who's timed out, you need Timeout permission."

Around a thousand discord bots raided a server my brother was moderating, and I shit you not he was so bored to ban them all by hand, he created a Discord bot on the spot to bulk ban people, it can ban all accounts that joined the server between 2 joins. Also features bulk message deletion, some other pretty useless stuff, and a hug if you want that.

I wanted to say, as you didnt clarify, that /member-safety trick works on any server, even if the member screen is not enabled/showing up as an option to click on. So, I guess its implemented in every server but not enabled for viewing for all.

spam is fun is a tool that literally made the raids easier and it was fucking painful for discord server owners and people who work on discord to patch it until the owner Leee himself brought it down for unknown reasons and touched grass lol I used that tool to fuck rival servers of mine ,just wanted to point that out.

this member-safety is afaik fixed already. also i wonder how that pause dms feature is gonna work. its obvious when person a and person b share one server, but what when they share 2 or more servers? their dms are blocked just because some server paused dms or what

Hmm... I wish they could do the same with the "Members" list in the server settings, it always takes forever to load for me, and my client always freezes momentarily before the list loads, and it's only a server of 200 members, let alone a place with 100 times the amount of people.
