When you're working hard for a buck, there ain't nothing like a tough Chevy truck. Your day is long, sometimes it is rough, from all the picking it up, yeah, dropping it off. And when push comes to shove, nothing works like a chevy, chevy truck. That's been true for the past 50 years combined, and it's still true today. Its a 58-59 chevy apache 56-57 had 1 headlight on each side while 58-59 had dual headlights on both sides

I've always liked this box look on the Chevrolet Silverado trucks, if I remember right when first redesigned the hood to a slight slope was to give it more dynamic for fuel economy but now days that's out the window with the front of the trucks higher & created more blind spots in front.

My first truck was an 85 s10. And now I have a nice 13 silverado. Theirs just somethen about Chevy and how American it is! Especially in the days of old! The heritage of it all. Oh how it takes me back.

My 1984 Chevrolet Scottsdale does 1000 times over than my new 2015 gmc 4x4. There really is no benefit to own a new truck that is constantly in the truck shop for electrical issues, transmission problems and cant be used to date for what I purchased it for. The 1984 runs strong, tows purposeful and doesn't leave my side.

@@kenshin891 I’d disagree have 50k on my 21 Silverado 2500 doing everything from plowing snow, hunting, hauling wood, carrying snowmobiles cross country, using on job sites to load trash and truck looks like I just took out of showroom on top of that it’s a loaded ltz

Only thing works like a Chevy truck is any other truck. I've had Chevy ford dodge with over 250,000 miles still going strong. My opinion it's kind of sounds like a High School pep rally to say we're the best and everyone else sucks. Or like pro football, The players on your team, played on the other team last year, or I only like blonds, whether it's a hemi or a Hellcat the records Ford has broke or the kick ass L.S it all beats walking. Nothing wrong with having a favorite but trashing the other brands seems like something a short guy does to feel taller, pitty. Try on a red head, eating the same thing everyday is boring.

The older chevys were great so were dodge and ford they were all at a stand off but for dodge and chevy around mid 2000's sorry but ford has them beat. Whilst fords arent perfect the later years dodge and chevys are way worse and endless money pits

I own a 2006 mustang GT and a 2006 Chevy Cobalt Mustang mint condition Cobalt. I can literally stick 3 fingers threw the rusted out frame lol I still like my Chevy but there metal is junk U must not live in the north

Best thing I ever did was switch to Ford trucks. More reliable, more power, better looking. However, Chevy trucks make great coral reefs I hear.

We've been Chevy people and our family since the 30s, my father always said he had a 35 Ford and it was junk then he bought a 37 Ford and it was worse LOL he said Ford might have the best truck car on the market today he doesn't know, but he said he's never forgiven Ford for the garbage they put out LOL, all kinds of Chevy haters, but really who the hell cares we've used our vehicles from General Motors hard over the years and they've always stood up well for us, each their own! But I'll be the first to admit Ford and Dodge have put out trucks that I've liked, but I stick with what I know and it's been good!
