Very rarely does a band like... literally take me to another place when I hear their music. This was magical. New favorite for sure.

One of the greatest male vocalists of our time. And I don't even feel any doubt in saying that. It's undeniable.

The way his voice breaks at the end gives me chills everytime.

2:39 - 2:54 holy crap connor i mean i know the note is that long in the recorded version but the fact that he it sounds THAT GOOD live . . . i mean, this right here is the reason i've been listening to the album on repeat for the last two weeks straight. you dont hear this kind of emotion and raw intensity in seemingly simple songs like this that often.

This song scares the shit out of me. I listen to it while I watch my husband sleep and the knowledge that someday, despite any efforts on either of our parts, one of us is going to slip away first and the other will be left with nothing but memories and the feeling that this song perfectly encompasses - a desperate, hollow, emptiness that aches like the vast expanses of empty space between stars. One day, no matter what any of us do, all of us leave... and the ones unlucky enough to have truly loved us are left with cosmic holes that can never be patched or filled. It's enough to make you terrified of ever getting close to anyone again. My grandfather is in the ER with COVID. My grandmother is sick. My aunt who is taking care of them is VERY sick. I’ve never experienced any family member passing. I am scared - and this song just encompasses it for a bit to make me feel human.

My parents got into a car accident yesterday, my mom came centimeters away from death being impaled in her face by a tree. She’s recovering, but she will be okay.
